Re: Cartoon Animator 4 (CT4)

Okay, so very old thread but it popped up when I was doing some searching. And then I see my name mentioned so I thought I'd chime in. I've concentrated for the most part on 3D animation for the last five years or so -- done some stuff I've been proud of. The most overwhelming advantage of 3D, to me...

Re: Forum software update

Wes directed me over here and I have to at least comment. Mike Clifton -- you and your software helped me more than you could ever imagine, and provided most of the joy in my life (aside from the people in my life) for many, many years now. Sorry to hear that you are no longer involved in any way wi...

Re: Current Approaches

Here's a very short video demonstrating this:

It's an old script but this ability still doesn't exist in Moho.

Re: Current Approaches

Just happened to drop by and saw this thread (because you updated it a few days ago) and in starting at the beginning I came across your question about relative motion. My Swiss Army Bone script does just that -- I've got videos that show this and you can easily find them, but it's one of the proble...

Re: Swiss Army Bones

Don't worry, Chucky -- as long as I'm alive this will continue to work no matter what the updates (because it's my own go-to tool).

I *think* I'm gonna outlive Moho updates.

Re: Swiss Army Bones

Ah, I see (just the YouTube reference).

Works quite a bit different than our forum (or any others I've been on). Thanks!

Swiss Army Bones

This script has been around a long time (almost two years now) but I thought I had better post a link to it here before it goes away (in May Dropbox is changing its policies and I don't at this point in time intend to update my links to reflect it). If you want it you can get it on the AnimatorsForu...

Re: Surface Pro 4

Oh, and I have ProCreate as well -- I'm just an app junkie, and I bought these in an experiment quite a few years back thinking I was going to be creating a lot of stuff and importing it into Anime Studio. It's taken this long before that's a viable option, but I AM excited about it. Without going ...

Re: Surface Pro 4

Yeah, I'm pretty excited about using the iPad Pro and importing the SVG to Moho. As to the other poster, I have a MacBook Air but I don't like Moho on it either -- again, the screen resolution just doesn't work for me. Where it does work is on my main PC system, with dual 30" monitors. That's ...

Re: Surface Pro 4

In thinking about this, I'm kind of glad I'm going with a program dedicated to drawing. While there is no question the drawing tools have been tuned up in Moho, it was extremely smart of them to improve SVG import to the point where other, better tools could be used in concert. This makes sense and ...

Re: Surface Pro 4

Yeah, I've tried that but it doesn't help these (old) eyes. After reviewing the SVG import and export capabilities of Moho 12, I've decided to go with an iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil, and use Autodesk's Graphic program. The combination should blow away anything I could do in Moho AND still allow me...

Re: Surface Pro 4

Thanks for the information. I did go ahead and order one so I'll at least check it out. The freehand works with a mouse fine for my level of artistic talent (the bar is set very low for me). If the pen on the Surface is in the same ballpark then I might be very happy, so we'll see. I didn't even buy...

Re: Surface Pro 4

I have used many MANY tablets in the past but I can't get over the eye/hand disconnect. So, no, I don't use tablets with Moho. I had eyed the Cintiq for many many years now, but just couldn't justify the expense. The Surface Pro as it now stands (I had the first version and it wasn't all that good) ...
