For what it's worth

I've been using this software since the early days. I'm also a professional and I've always been happy with upgrades and happy to pay for them. I appreciate development costs etc. and I've been following the various comments with interest. As with any software we all have our likes and dislikes. My ...

Export to flash (swf) outside issues

Hi All OK, I've gone back thru all earlier postings on the subject of exporting to flash and now have a handle on most issues. We're animating for a web site banner and have a letter box work area. One element is needed to scroll thru frame but when I play the swf back I can see the letter box but a...

To upgrade or not

I agree with earlier post. I also open version 6 on a daily and professional basis and it's just right. I've had to go back and work on earlier projects in the earlier versions but the upgrade is well worth it

development

I agree with the other guys, keep it simple. It was interesting to watch your first effort and then listening to the advice offered develop your animation. Nice to see my old friends character from the Iron Giant used as an example as well.

Imported audio playback levels

Hi Guys Any advice greatly appreciated. I have a set of cans so as not to distract my colleague. The Mac preference is set for output to the cans. I've imported audio as a .wav file but scrubbing thru the timeline the audio plays out of the mac and not the cans, even when I turn down the macs audio ...

Good points, I agree about taking delight in the teams failings. Regarding the animation I would have liked to have gone with a blue print design with a more involved style. Unfortunately we only joined the production at the last minute and as always with these things we had to produce 60 animations...

Getting in touch

Hey I'm trying to contact someone from e-frontier about getting a PR quote. I'm about to embark on a broadcast project and will probably use Anime Studio Pro (which I've used from the very early days. I'm always keen to rave about this package and have tried to email Fahim but my emails keep getting...

Hi Jack

Nolan seems to have this one sorted and I'll follow his lead.

I'm still playing around with this but the I resolved the black issue by going into the layer settings for the 3d obj. going to the 3D options tab and turning off the edge offset (reducing to 0) box.

Hope that helps

3D import from Cinema 4D

Have now searched through all relevant tutorials/scripts/postings regarding this subject. Not only did I learn a lot on this subject but I also stumbled across other threads that were awesome. Sorry to post a new thread but came across the excellent scripts that Brian (7feet) wrote for simple object...
