Dude.
That was some time after the original poster here mentioned it.

And let's see how many upgrades TBS makes you pay for before the next paid ASP upgrade.
I'm betting SM will need some more paying upgrades to offset their investment in AS.

Once again, where was the big announcement? SM, if you want to get ahead of this 'bad handling' feeling a lot of people have been getting around here, you might try saying something like: "AS6 releases tomorrow!" Any heads up at all is always much better than "oh, look, someone stumbl...

That is a bit nuts. More fuel for the Toon Boon supporters.

My thoughts exactly! But I'll refrain from going into details, as I'm afraid the forum police will come round me up.

You basically want to start with the highest parent bone you plan on tracking. From there, you only track the tip of the bone if the parenting chain is handling its base. And you want to run the tracking for each bone individually, so that you can do this.

When switching from a bone layer to one of its vector layers, it doesn't automatically select the point tool. If the point tool is selected, I have no trouble. 5.6 always selected the point tool when switching to any vector layer. I'm not sure I understand that change either. I'm sure Vern can expla...

Yeah, I think there's bound to be some confusion over how the tools are combined in 6. In 5.6 the rotate layer x/y are tools, since you have interaction with the rotation, but the flip layer x/y are buttons because they offer no interaction. Granted any button could be made into a tool that does its...

I'm assuming you mean the one I'm working? Until they fix the scripting console in version 6 you'll have to wait (or I decide to do it the very hard way in 5.6).

Re: Mike -- help me restore AS 5.6 functionality

I'd like to get back the flip layer tool which seems like an easy thing to do except when you have no error checking in AS 6. This is what *doesn't* work: ... which is basically just cut and paste from the old tool and your new way of doing it. But it doesn't do anything and I must be missing somet...

No, not the layers. I only really checked out the "rest" layer. If you keep selecting the shape with the select shape tool and deleting, you'll find that there are five or more shapes on that mouth curve. Well you select and it shows the checkerboard pattern you'll be down to the last one ...

Okay guess what? This is the SAME behavior in AS 5.6!!!! Bullshit. Straight out and without reservations. I just tested it. Sure, 5.6 does have this as a redraw issue, but it easily corrects itself. Follow the damn steps in 6.0. DON'T ADD THE STEP OF APPLYING THE ACTION TO THE MAINLINE. Before you ...

Vern, Look, I haven't even been able to save most the time with my 'final' registered ASD6 and never with the Pro demo. And that little rant must have felt good, because you didn't even get close to telling the guy what the problem was. Go back to giving us useless smart ass remarks instead of usele...
