Re: scaling group when using sketchy effect

Production tip (too late for you): if you need a certain design effect on your lines, you must test the method in different situations like scaling complete characters, have differently scaled objects in the same scene, and so on. You may end up with 2 or 3 different versions of characters (for clos...

Since only his face is needed, a large green poncho or just a blanket with a hole for the head will do.

Re: Wolfwalkers movie in Annecy

I'm looking forward to this, as I believe they can't do a bad movie, and they use the same 2 programs I do, so this is good on so many levels!

Re: Motion Tracking with Image Sequences

You could always render the image sequence into a video from Moho and re-import, then tracking should work in any case.

Re: Moho's future

I don't need upgrades that often. Bugfixes, OK, because I paid for something that works. Upgrades make me nervous because in an "adult" software like Moho this often means "Verschlimmbesserung": change features or add new ones to the level of unusability. And Moho has failed to address some complain...

Re: Moho and After Effects

I prefer video files because then I'll have only 1 file per scene. Others here in the forum prefer PNG sequences because they can deal easier with mistakes in the render. I keep that in mind as a second option, however, I rarely had problems while rendering. Any good video editor shouold be able to ...

Re: Multiple embedded video best practice

That text effect gave me the headaches - I did it in Photoshop in 3D, and it took ages to render!

Re: Moho's future

So what? The old versions will still work fine. Why are people so obsessed with "do respectable studios use it"? If it fits for your project, use it. If not, don't.

Re: Moho and After Effects

Why do you use 23,927 fps? Use 24 fps in both projects and you should have no problems. 23,927 fps is not one of any official video broadcast frame rates. It is a legal frame rate on Blue Ray discs, however, nobody would produce content in that frame rate. You produce in either 24, 25 or 30 fps, and...

When you add a point it usually will be a curved one like the ones before and after. Select a point, cmd-P for Peak, cmd-C for curve, a line between two peak points will be straight.

In fact one of the reasons i like Moho so much was that it deals gracefully even with large imported files, images or video. If this has changed in recent versions, well ...
