Re: Animating Clothes (not sheets)

Another possibility, if the established shot could be interrupted, could be a series of close-ups depicting the brief bits of the process and then back to the primary shot.

Re: Forum software update

There`s not much more left to say except - Thank you.
I`m willing to hear/learn about the options which would keep this forum live since I find that option more interesting rather than have it as an archive. Up to you, of course, I`m just voicing out my opinion and support.

Re: Animate a line along a path

For something like that, I`d also go for stroke exposure.
I`ve used the same approach since the existing path can be used for circles to follow and the timing is easy to sync.

Re: Poor quality mp4 rendering

AVI is just a container, not an encoder... Sure thing, but wouldn`t that page be the nice spot to tell what happens with the uploaded container? Hence my previous remark about YT`s encoding (if recognised!?). Regarding the YT upload and smaller file sizes - there`s a free tool Handbrake which has s...

Re: Poor quality mp4 rendering

^ I`m aware of the list but UX tells a tad bit different story. I might prepare one avi just to try it for my self.

p.s.
On the very same page, where the list is given - there`s a link for encoding settings : https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/1722171
No avi

Re: Poor quality mp4 rendering

As far as I could recall, YT will encode video to mp4 so...

p.s.
I have not tried it recently but I think YT would not even "recognise" avi at all.

Re: Maintaining facial expression a through head turn

Hi! To me, it looks like the proper answer to your questions lays somewhere in between the design and layer structure. You are right, switch layers are used for different eyes but the rotation itself is solved through the Actions and Smart Bones. Once you have a grip on these two, you`ll quickly fig...

Re: Sound frustration...

One could devise a sort of a shortcut for starting Moho (on Win, at least) where each time you double click on that shortcut on desktop, it would (in fact, initiate the process through a few lines of script and) simultaneously start Moho and (perhaps with some delay) the script for disabling the spa...

Re: HELP WITH FONTS!!!!

A small addition to (Win) font managing programs - AMP font viewer. Free, available in a portable version as well, temp install of fonts (from any folder) while the app is on and personally, I find it a tad bit more comfortable and customizable than Greenlaw`s suggestion, FontExpert. Slight off topi...

Re: Extreme zooms and pans

I`m aware of it, but I thought that two origins (one for each OoAtt) would "collide" / produce distortion. Obviously, they`re not.

Re: Extreme zooms and pans

The first part, initial approach, is quite clear but how did you avoid two origins to "collide"?
Which origin is zoom following now? It`s still just one camera, right?

Re: Import a .jpg image without a border

The best solution would be to edit the image before importing but you can also select the image/layer and give it a try with Crop or Masking tools.
