Anime Studio Pro 11 Tutorial

Howdy all, For those wanting a little something on ASP 11, O'Reilly Media (who recently purchased Infinite Skills) had me work on a tutorial for them. https://player.oreilly.com/videos/9781771375405 I couldn't cover bone sketching since that was still in beta, but I do cover just about everything el...

Re: New ASP 9 tutorial series

Thanks for jumping in and helping sbtamu. You beat me to the reply.

TvL, I mention doing the reparenting requirement but it may be easy to miss if concentrating on the actions instead of the narrative. Glad it's working for you now!

Re: VTC Anime Studio Pro Video Tutorial

Hi All,

A couple of weeks ago, Infinite Skills posted a series that I put together for them. I posted a little announcement a couple of weeks ago here in case you didn't see it: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=24361

Fun stuff. I think you may like it.

New ASP 9 tutorial series

Hi Folks, Long time, no hassle – although I lurk. For those interested, I've recently completed an ASP9 series for Infinite Skills. It's based off of some very similar pro work I've had run through my studio. Check it out here, especially the 'What we cover' movie if you're interested. http://www.in...

Re: VTC Anime Studio Pro Video Tutorial

Hi Folks, This thread was the first that I was aware VTC was doing an ASP 9 tutorial. Over the last couple of years, VTC scaled back all of their creative software tutorials in favor of business packages because of the economy. I was told I would be contacted when they ramped up again. VTC also migr...

Hi Info, They do consider the votes. But I also have been told that ASP sells pretty well for them - which is a big vote. The combo could be good! I did ping them earlier this week and was told that they will be creating new assignments on July 12, so I may have an answer sooner rather then later. M...

I'll ping the folks at VTC. Like many businesses, they pulled back in the rate of new tutorial releases because of the economy. But I think ASP is due now.

I actually haven't upgraded yet and am still on ASP7. I'm mid project and upgrading during a project is always a no-no; a lesson learned the hard way with another software. The Character Wizard looks like a great way to bring better consistency to multiple poses/actions and across a library of chara...

Not to sound like the jaded capitalist, but all of the animation work I've done revolves around a business model/objective - ultimately to generate cash. Animation is usually a means to an end of a larger goal and is often used as a sub part to a larger effort. Feature length films are certainly a &...

For organic shapes, the AS tool set is really good because it does play nice when animating. However, the .ai files do allow users to bring in geometrics that AS has a difficult time creating. But as the help says, .ai v8 or earlier...
