Re: Webinar Recording Available

I've looked for the wolf character referenced in the webinar but I can't seem to locate it. Can anyone tell me where to look?

Thanks,
Barry

Re: Using AS9 Pro on a Surface Pro

You might be right about AS not being a good drawing tool from an artist's point of view, but for a poor amateur artist like me it's just fine. I have Android and IOS tablets with drawing and painting applications and I've drawn all my life on paper, although not very well. I think I probably draw b...

Re: Using AS9 Pro on a Surface Pro

When you get it I'd be really interested in hearing how it works out. You say you worry about only 4 gig but the one I had only had 2 gig RAM and there weren't any real graphical problems. I've never done anything very complex in AS so maybe I just haven't run into those problems yet but I have used...

Re: Using AS9 Pro on a Surface Pro

I bought an Acer Iconia W510, a Windows 8 tablet and I tried Anime Studio on it, as well as a number of other programs. After about a week I returned the tablet. Most of the software I use would work okay on it but it wasn't much fun. Everything was a lot of extra effort. Anime Studio did work okay ...

Fahim
Thanks. I've been trying to decide if I'm interested in a Windows RT tablet. Having the prospect of an AS version for it wouldn't be the deciding factor but it would be a nice plus.

Is there any plan for a Windows 8 RT version of Anime Studio?

Re: ASP 9.1

I'm not in a rush for the update. I've just been playing with it a bit and I haven't found any real problems so far. When I get word that the update is ready I'll do it then.

I hadn't thought about Check for Updates. Thanks for that suggestion.

Re: ASP 9.1

I got an email about the update and I couldn't really understand it. It gave instructions for downloading it that made no sense. So I went to the Smith Micro website and got into a chat with a support rep who explained that they've found a problem with the update and that they're fixing it now and t...

Another program to try is Corel Draw. It tries pretty hard to be like both Photoshop and Illustrator. There are two programs, Draw and Paint. Actually there are several others as well. I bought the older version of their student version from Amazon for $40. I first called Corel and made sure it was ...

I also suspect laziness, young peoples just do not want to read unless it's a Harry Potter book, even then, most just wait for the movie to come out. I'm a lazy 70 year old, although I do love to read. :) I don't really have to learn AS. It's something I enjoy playing with. I also enjoy learning so...

I voted maybe in the poll, mostly because I wasn't sure what you had in mind till I read further. But I really am pretty interested. However, if the focus will be on stereoscopic rendering I may not be as interested. I've experimented with that a bit, just playing around, and I find that I can't rea...

I've tried to make something to play with using the Character Wizard. I figured I'd make some kind of general character that I could modify as I please. The problem with this is that the character it creates is very difficult to modify and I have to modify it in several views. If I knew more about w...

I have to agree that I got more out of the second one although I think both were good. The diagram helped. Of course the second one was a second time through the topic and that helped, too. The computer generated voice wasn't bad but I prefer your voice. Thanks for this and I'll be looking forward t...

I don't know a lot about animation but i was a programmer for 3 and a half decades and I can't tell you how many times I heard this same conversation related to programming. "How do I learn it?" You just do. Get a book. Get a compiler. Get a friend. Just whatever it takes to get started. A...

If you get it without Debut it's $49. You have to give them a serial number to get it. I'm considering it.
