Great flare! Was that imported from illustrator or something? I can't believe you're doing this fbf. It's looking amazing so far.

Wow. Simply engaging. I like planetscapes too. They let me be my most creative. You have big balls in the sky. I'd like to see you change that up a little. You have good color variety.

I have a lot of problems with water and fire. Your 2nd version is so much better than the first that I think I might have to get that book too. Elemental Magic: The Art of Special Effects Animation... $32 on Amazon

keep up the good work!

Beautiful style. Thanks for changing up the tilts and word slices. There was a lot of character introduction and the slices started to detract from the story after a while.

But I'm about to play sick at work and go try out that character style.

Good job!

Um, maybe you have transparency turned off in Display Quality and that hair shape has reduced alpha.

Or maybe you have a style applied to it and the check mark is off?

intriguing.

The music video is really good! I like the hopping penguin and the three eyed frog.

Maybe it was the music on the showreel but it seems like good ol classic cartooning. I like the style a lot.

Nice Skills Jurjen

http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9610 You can also "copy" key frames from the regular time line into an action this way. So if you have a cool set of key frames that you animated in the main time line and decide later you want them to "reuse" in an action you creat...

That was CRAZY! With the fingernail dog and chicken and skunk and stuff. I think the action slowed down in two spots but other than that it was very entertaining.

How's the technique working for you? I am still having heaps of trouble overcoming it... Honestly, Many of my friends say they don't even notice it when the character is moving. But, I still see it in my CTRL+R renders. I thought it was an anti aliasing problem and tried rendering one frame as a jp...

thanks
I think image and gradients don't stay with point animation on purpose. You have to use bones if you want to keep the texture still.

Re: V6 Question about timeline buttons and key commands

I'm having a problem at the moment in V6 AS Pro (Windows) with the timeline buttons and keyboard commands regularly stopping working. It usually happens after vector point manipulation. Anyone come across this or know if there's an easy way of resetting things without restarting the program? How ar...

THANKS!

I was stuck in between a realistic style and a cartoon style. It's taking forever to make actions for the characters.

The way you described it sounds like you want to create a new shape during the animation. I believe you would have better luck if you started off with two shapes next to each other then just move them apart when you need. If you were using a circle you could have a full circle on top of two semi-cir...
