Actually, Does anyone remember using a vector based animation program on their Atari ST called "AniST". This really was arguably Flash ahead of it's time. No timeline controls. Not sure about most unusual animation tool. But your post reminded my of a 3D tool I looked at called Smooth Teddy.

How about Xsheet/Dope Sheet export

Papagayo is one of the best lip sync tools around, but it lacks one thing, xsheet/dopesheet export.
