Have you looked into using papagayo and create a .dat file for lip syncing? It really works better than using the audio or switch files to make the keys. sbtamu, are you saying the results are better by creating the .dat file with Papagayo, rather than using the lipsync function already built in An...

Impossible to edit a path without seeing shape
When a vector layer is placed within a group layer, it is no longer possible to edit a path without seeing the shape and the colors. Before, in V6, all I had to do was select a vector layer, and uncheck the eye icon. The shape(s) in the layer would disappear, but the path could still be edited. This...

I created my walks such that the character would be walking stand-still, and I ran into similar problems. When I'd insert the action into my main timelime, the character would slip back, either completely or some of its parts...I had to translate the layer to correct the situation. Translating the m...

Lost feature in v.7?
How can I edit a path without seeing the shape and the colors? Before, in V6, all I had to do was select a layer, and uncheck the eye icon. The shape(s) in the layer would disappear, but the path could still be edited. This allowed me to edit the path only. What happened to this feature? Why was it ...

Switch layers can do the job, but I prefer to create an action with a morph.
You can later play with the morphs using the blend morphs tool.
Selgin described such a method in this post:

Script to merge vector layers
Hello,
I'm looking for a script that would enable me to merge a set of vector layers contained within a group.
The set of vector layers would be merged into a single vector layer, with shapes pasted on top of one another.
Does this script exist?
It would be very useful IMO.
Thks

For body turns I create poses of the character at various angles, and morph from one angle to the other. As a rule of thumb, from experience, it's better to morph 15 degrees at a time. (ex.: from 45 degrees to 60 degrees). So I create poses at 30, 45, 60, etc. If you morph shapes using a wider angle...
