Re: Unimited Animated Layer Order with Smartbones?

In some projects, I have created a specific 'layer order' smart bone. Then I rotated that bone with step keys every time I wanted to change the order. To work properly, no other smart bone modifies the layer order. PS: This layer order smart bone is normally around 50 frames long. I just put all th...

Re: Script: I want to connect child bone to tip of parent bone (not tail)

This might get you started: local bone = skel:Bone(parent_bone_id) local boneBase = LM.Vector2:new_local() local boneTip = LM.Vector2:new_local() boneBase:Set(0,0) bone.fMovedMatrix:Transform(boneBase) if not (bone:IsZeroLength()) then boneTip:Set(bone.fLength, 0) bone.fMovedMatrix:Transform(boneTip...

Re: Sync referenced layer's channels to original in Lua?

That's what I was afraid of... Thanks Wes!

Luckily all my referenced layers have 'reference' in the layername, so I can quickly filter by name and right click and sync all...

Sync referenced layer's channels to original in Lua?

I've got referenced layers breaking all the time (not sure why, it might be importing/copying rigs from scene to scene) , and I'm looking for a way to "Sync all Channels to Original" for all of them. Doing it by hand takes a lot of time. But I can't find a way to do it in Lua. local i for i = 1, #la...

Re: Bones on separate channels

If you color your bones, each color group would have its own set of channels on the timeline.

Re: How to simulate classic hand drawn animation style

That's very good Lukas! I see that only the animated parts have that noisy effect, right? so that's almost what I was going to try but with a different drawing style. How did you achieve the noise? Every element is drawn three times in Photoshop. When elements in Moho move the switch layer was key-...

Re: How to simulate classic hand drawn animation style

We once made a short film in 2010 (so probably in Anime Studio Pro 6?) in exactly the style alanthebox suggested. Here it is:

Re: Slow physics

If you bake physics and let it play out it will create a lot of keyframes. If you then turn physics off, I assume you can render on all cores again.

Re: Red Dead Online Animation

Great job. The style works really well. Two simple things that wouldn't require a lot of effort to get it to a higher level: - I think the lip-syncing would benefit from some extra mouth shapes. Quite often it misses important expressions and it feels off. - When the sun goes doen and the night sets...
