Re: I hate curves!

I'm finding that I am having to change tools far too often for simple editing tasks... I spend a lot of time in the tool bar or tool bar modifiers, instead of working directly on the shapes... I work in 3D using Modo, and from a UI point of view, they really went out of their way to set up a fast wo...

Gradient direction/quality

HI all, ASP 7 Linear gradients... when originally created, look like they should, but when I try to change the direction of the gradient using the Select Shape tool... and rotate the gradient a bit, it looks like hell... the transitions are blocky and... well, not very transition like at all... the ...

Re: I hate curves!

That's embarassing :) I totally didn't see it. Now, experimenting with it, I find that I can select and deselect "sharp corners", and it seems to act somewhat like I hoped... BUT, what if you have a point, (vertex?) and you want to change the type of point it is... to toggle the "shar...

I hate curves!

ASP 7 Say I hate curves. never want to see one. I want to make shapes made up of NO curves ever, at any time. Straight edges everywhere... filled, non-filled, all that, but NO curves. AS7 seemes designed to only make curves. Should I not be able to draw a shape with no curves... you know... click, c...

Ahhh ok... what is this exactly

Hi all,

I have the scripting interface(s)... yay!

SO... now that I have them... what are they, exactly... how do I see them... how do I use them?

Perhaps there is a nubie scripting thread somewhere?

Thanks!

sticky on the scripting forum: http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12334 HOLY SMOKES, these tools are amazing! And the sad thing is... they are just basic tools! Has anyone done any work with respect to eliminating some of the existing AS tools... If there are experienced AS'ers out the...

Ryder, Off topic a second. Do you happen to have A degree in Industrial Engineering? You speak the same way I do when I am teaching or consulting a company about work flow or JIT Inventory and managing assets etc. Stephen Hey Stephen... pretty good call on your part... Production Systems Engineering.

Instead think South Park... Planning scenes in advance is not going to happen. I assure you that even South Park has a script written for each episode and has some sort of story board and shot list. It is not done "on the fly". They don't just make it up as they go along. What I suggested...

We're not doing 3D here, so we just can't create a bucket and expect it to behave like a bucket. But we can create a bucket with a front and back layer, put it inside a group, import it into any scene, and just drag those two layers into any other character rig and bind it to the same bone so it ac...

i'm sure when south park started there was no library of assets - they just built up over time from necessity! There's no way you're going to plan ahead for every possible situation - i would spend less time making it futureproof and more time animating it to make it good enough to run that long :)...

Yes copy and paste, you should stand on frame zero and then select the frames where you accidentily create something, copy from above the timeline, not from the meny, and paste and it should be okay. Then you can delete the selected keyframes. OK, I am missing something... I have an object on frame...

Oops... drew on frame OTHER than frame 0

Hi all,

made the mistake of creating something on a frame other than zero.

I have heard rumors that such a problem can be corrected... help!
(some kind of copy > paste to frame zero)

Thanks!
