Re: Maintain the volume of an object

manual is wrong .. it's shift (not alt) with one of the edge bounding box control points selected to scale a layer preserving volume (although as Maestral points out, it's actually keeping layer_scale_x * layer_scale_y constant, not actually preserving shape area.)

Re: Tiling Script

there are two scripts in "tiling" -- one is Create Tile and the other is Repeat Tile. Run "create" to make a tile shape and its background fill; then manually edit the "design" vector layer to put what you want on the tile; you can also scale the Tile group to set the tile size; then run Repeat to a...

Re: Select Shape Tool

nope - there's no "lasso mode" in select shape.

one fairly simple to implement possibility would be to use the select point tool plus a (new) separate tool to select the shapes with all (or more than zero?) points selected?

Re: Cost of upgrade to Moho Pro 13?

First of all -- I totally agree with Wes (synthsin75) -- 12.5 doesn't have the new features but, therefore, also doesn't have the problems that many 13 users have encountered in a production environment, forcing them to revert to 12.5. 12.5, IMO, is an overall better product. You can get it from ama...

Re: Get a stroke applied to a single line?

Thanks I installed the new version (uninstalled the old version). I am still getting this message: ... ok -- mea culpa -- not an excuse for the mess, just an explanation: like a ding-dong, I just looked at the version numbers of the SM tools for AS11 and Moho12 -- both 6.0 -- thought no more!! Then...

Re: Get a stroke applied to a single line?

ooops!

Bug fix for AS11 in this version (Moho 12 and later users don't need this update -- that function - moho:CurrentTool() - was not in AS11)

Re: Get a stroke applied to a single line?

had an idea that turned out to be pretty straightforward -- here it is -- http://www.mediafire.com/file/2ztq6e48nre5ytj/hs_AddPoint.zip/file it's the LM add point tool modified to recognise the "autostroke" option and create shapes for newly created paths. Each branch of a path is created as a new s...

Re: Camera key frame

by default. if you haven't done anything with the camera, the channels won't be visible.
if you (e.g.) zoom the camera on frame 1 you'll see the zoom channel.
if you want the channels always visible - in view/timeline channels find the camera group and change from "o" to "+"

Re: parent bone layers?

You can use different bone colours for different parts of the rig. And there's a script written by Lukas that allows you to toggle the visibility of bones by colour (can't find the link to that right now -- maybe someone else can chime in?). IOW make (say) the bones that control front arm red and th...

Re: Mask points acting up

first obvious thing to try is this: (and if you've already done it, then apologies) but … there are point motion keys at 50 and at 100 -- it's possible that the points that "misbehave" are not keyed in one of them -- also there is no corresponding curvature key at 50, so that might also contribute t...

Re: Tutorial - How to morph two faces in Moho

this was about 3 years ago... rz0TZzQhDgU animated masks to reveal the second image -- the face shapes are more or less the same so I didn't need to distort the images -- the "hard work" was aligning the facial features (image scale and positioning) -- I think I aimed for eye and centre of mouth ali...

Re: Rotate smart bone

two observations from those screenshots: the switch doesn't change after frame 30, but the bone angle does up to frame 60 -- so with the bone pointing at a shape that isn't actually referenced in the switch between frames 30 and 60 it won't change. (there are also only 6 switch changes and 8 shapes?...

Re: Tool idea for an easy 2.5D.

in Victor's image - I think this is the principle: think of the blue oval as the green circle rotated about a y axis centred on the pivot point of the bone, then the blue bone needs to be scaled to follow the x/y/z=0 coordinates of the rotated circle (and sorry, I really don't have the spare hours t...
