Yeah, I don't think the filled head is an option. But if all else fails I will have to present that to the team.

Thanks, Simplsam!

Re: Animating with just lines

Sounds like you'd need to put everything, including the background, in a masking group. Then you just set the group to show all, place a reference of the character with a filled head just above the background, and set it to subtract. Set the original character layer to not mask, and everything else...

Animating with just lines

Hey guys, so the project I'm working on now is just lines. Stick figures. Very simple. I'll include images for reference. So basically it's a whiteboard type style. My question is this. How do I have a stick character in front of, let's say a house, without us seeing the house through the character'...

Neeters!

Thanks, man. Yeah, I was going to paint them originally, but was able to use blending modes in Moho to create the aesthetic I liked.

Re: How to animate on 2s and 4s?

You can select all your keyframes and change them to work on twos or fours. Then change the timeline settings to show markers every two or four frames. I also recommend you to set the default interpolation to twos or fours. Since your animation was already created, you need to be sure everything wo...

Re: How to animate on 2s and 4s?

On top of all those methods, I would use the export option "Render at half frame rate" at the Export Animation window. This will make your on 1s animation look like on 2s. Of course this gives you less control over which poses or keyframes stay in the animation but try it, it will probabl...

Re: How to animate on 2s and 4s?

Here's one more: depending on how you animated the Moho project, you could also grab all the keyframes and use Alt+Drag to compress the animation to half (for twos) or one-quarter (for fours) of the duration, then render that out. Then, in your compositing or video editing program, time stretch it ...

Re: Frank the Cockroach

This is great. If your intended client is not interested, you should take it to the next pest-control convention ( or Cannes ) and it will sell like roach-infested hot-cakes. I can really see this character spinning out as a Hygiene Enforcer/Reminder/Educator type dude. Thanks, SimplSam. Turns out ...

How to animate on 2s and 4s?

Hi everyone. Started a project where I will need to produce animations done on 2s, and possibly 4s. Very simple animations. Is there a way to do this after the animation is done on 1s already? If not, what is the process for animating on 2s in Moho? I'm on version 14. I found a YouTube video from Vi...

Re: PSD file in Moho 14

Hey guys! So I've taken on a new client who already has characters designed in PSD files. They imported fine into Moho, but my question is what happens when I start renaming and rearranging these? If no updates will be done in PS is it best for me just to bring everything in as PNGs to avoid any po...

Re: Rhubarb Auto Lip Sync

Someone could always write a Moho Lua frontend for this. Don't know if it's something I would want or need. Hopefully one of the other scripters has enough interest to write it, but if not, maybe there's enough people/interest to fund getting it written. If that happens Papagayo is history I can't ...
