Comedy Video About Game of Thrones
Hey all, I've finally released my comedy music video about Game of Thrones, just in time for the final season. Thanks for the years of good advice when I posted on these forums – I couldn't have gotten here without your help on the software and animation in general! Also, I'm planning on making more...

When to Use Different Interpolation Types
Hey all, I've been working on some animations recently, and I suddenly realized that I've pretty much always defaulted to smooth interpolation, except for occasional bezier when I want to get really specific. So, I was wondering, what do you all tend to do for your animations? When is it best to use...

After Effects in the Workflow
Hey all, I've been using my animation skillz at my day job to create some client education videos. A graphic designer colleague produced the art I need in Adobe Illustrator, and I imported the AI file into Moho to get it all set up. Most of the art looks okay, but there are a few assets that I defin...

Splotchy Effect isn't Cooperating
Hey all, I used the splotchy effect to add some texture to my background art, and it looks good on any given frame, but if I zoom or track the camera, the effect doesn't stay static inside the shape. That crazy movement could be a cool effect, but it's not what I'm going for right now... Any suggest...

Convert Back to Bone Layer
Hey all,
I accidentally selected "Convert to Switch" on my character's top-most bone layer. The bones are still there, but it's obviously only displaying one body part.
How do I switch it back to a bone layer? I haven't been able to find anything that does it!
Thanks!

Bind Bone or Smart Bone for Nested Pupils?
Hi all, I have a character with smart bone dials on the top bone layer that can move his pupils. One smart bone is for Left and Right, the other is for Up and Down. I thought that was pretty good, but then I noticed the Gorilla character that comes with ASP 11, and I thought THAT seemed like a much ...

Making Backgrounds
Hi all, I'm looking to get back into animating again. The last thing I animated was a collaboration with my brother. He was applying for the Dean Honors Scholarship at Tulane University, and they wanted to see the student do something creative with a "box" on the prompt's page. Long story ...

Re: Quick Smart Bone Question
I'm not sure why my old rigs don't seem to be doing it, but I started a new one using your advice and it works great!
Thanks so much, guys!

Quick Smart Bone Question
I feel stupid, but I've been struggling to get smart bones to work with my character rig! If I have every vector layer as a direct child to the main skeleton bone layer of the character, the smart bone does what it's supposed to do, but if the vector layers are nested in group layers, switch layers,...

Advanced Special Effects?
So… I want to make my animations really pop with a professional level of quality. I'm not deluded into thinking that throwing Michael Bay-esque special effects will make up for crappy animation, but I do think that it could help to have better effects in my toolbox. I want to use Anime Studio for al...

Twirling a baton
I have a female character who throws a baton up in the air, and I want it to spin around. When I try to rotate the baton using the rotate layer tool, the interpolation in between causes the baton to lose its size and shape. It just doesn't look right. I can do it manually, keyframe by keyframe, but ...

Hey ddrake,
That looked awesome! I'm impressed.
Can you tell me a bit about how you achieved the handheld camera effect? What interpolation setting, how many keyframes, etc.? I've been wanting to do something like that for a while.
