Disappearing Scroll Bar

Recently, my Moho project windows have changed their appearance and functionality for the worse. There is now a double title bar at the top of the window, with one duplicated below the other, in a smaller font. The bottom of the project window no longer has a horizontal scroll bar handle. These &quo...

Updating to Mac Catalina OS

Have any Moho Mac users updated to Catalina OS yet? I have a relatively new iMac running High Sierra, and I'm a bit reluctant to make the jump, because everything is working fine at the moment. As I understand it, Catalina drops 32 bit support, and there is no more QuickTime. Has anyone made the mov...

Contact Info Request

I recently got a new iMac, and transferred my files and information to the the new computer using Time Machine. Once the transfer was complete I was able to launch Moho, but some things were different. It first asked me to select a folder for Moho Content, so I created a new folder called Moho Conte...

Moho Layer Names Abbreviated

When I open a file in Moho 12, the layer names are abbreviated to the point that they are difficult to identify quickly. L Arm Upper, and L Arm Lower are both labeled as "L Ar..." , which is not very helpful for telling which is which. I tried dragging to expand the layers panel. It got wi...

Re: A Walking Man

Thank you. Yes, this character is a man who knows where he's going. The arm and leg positions were inspired by the original clip art image, and it was rather exaggerated, which I liked. I will work on more variations.

Re: Walking In Place

I would say the style of animation I am going for would be like a limited TV style rather than full studio animation. I will try these suggestions.

A Walking Man

Here is a cycle of a man walking in place I did inspired by a clip art image from the 50's. Working in a vacuum, I tend to focus on the things I see that are obvious to me, and fixing them, but possibly missing other things. Posting on the forum is very helpful, since other people may see things I d...

Re: Walking In Place

Here is a modified version of my original walk cycle. I made a few adjustments based on the helpful suggestions made after my original post. The walk is also a little slower, being based on a video I found of an actual person walking. with no deadlines, I'm afraid it's possible to keep tweaking your...

Walking In Place

Here is an attempt at a character walking in place. It's based on a 24 frame cycle, with frames 1 and 24 being the same position. It was all drawn in Anime Studio Pro, using smart bones and switch layers. The audio is a Final Cut Pro sound effect, speed adjusted.

A Driving Animation

This is a "driving a car" animation I did using ASP. Most of the character driving action is controlled with a single Smart Bone, with other Smart Bones functioning within this larger action. This helps keep the timeline uncluttered. It also allows you to go back in and make minor adjustme...

My First Animation Post

After much time spent exploring how things work within anime Studio, and with some much needed help from the Support Forums, I am finally posting a video. I's drawn entirely with the ASP drawing tools, and mainly uses point binding, smart bones, and switch layers. The style, such as it is, is influe...
