FWIW, the matched renders I posted above used Ctrl-R. So, maybe this is a Mac issue as you suggested?
Sorry, I don't have a Mac right now and can't check that here, but hopefully, another Mac user or the Moho devs can test the file and post feedback soon.

Re: Stroke width not same at render
Sorry, I meant for final-quality renders. I don't think there are any user-defined render settings for Render Preview (Ctrl-R). I believe this command defaults to whatever is built-in. The user-defined render settings I'm talking about are found in Export Animation and Moho Exporter . You can make p...

Re: Can you shortcut to a Switch Layer??
OH! Here's another Switch Layer shortcut technique. I haven't used this one in many years, but it still work in 14.1: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/6kj4311p4jgjj6cfkxxk7/CtrlAltRMB.png?rlkey=oe0kuuaui4wjawxev62mbzfbm&raw=1 Use Ctrl+Alt+RMB on the visible Switch Layer artwork in the Working Area...

Re: Stroke width not same at render
You might want to check the render settings. What immediately stood out to me was the poor antialiasing quality in the rendered version of your post. The settings to check: - Enable Antialiased Edges . (I guess this one is obvious) - Enable Extra Smooth Images . This tells Moho to render the project...

Re: Can you shortcut to a Switch Layer??
I should have mentioned that Shift+Alt+RMB has a companion shortcut: Alt+RMB. This variation selects the layer directly. I use this one all the time.

Re: Can you shortcut to a Switch Layer??
Yes! There's a limitation with the official shortcut, though. To select a group that an artwork layer belongs to, just Shift+Alt+RMB on the artwork in the working area. If the art belongs to a Switch layer, this shortcut selects it. Bonus: if you're using the Switch Selection Window, the Switch laye...

Re: Stroke width not same at render
Hi Nicohk92, I'm not sure why this happens on your end, but here are the results I see with your file: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/33e3dkqvo2mx7agn8dtx3/spleenDisplayVsRender.jpg?rlkey=s3k98e5c9i3x6o4jxx1qv0rqj&raw=1 On the left is what I see on my display, and on the right is the Ctrl-R rend...

Re: Project organisation
Just a variation on Hayasidist's post above... I number my shots by ones, using three positions, so s001, s002, s003, etc. The shot numbering is worked out in the storyboard and animatic, and the assigned numbers rarely change after I begin animation. Still, occasionally, I find I need to add new sh...

Re: How can I "release" a Frame by frame layer?
Just a thought: Can you use the Bind Layer tool to bind the FBF to an unparented bone? If it needs to move with the rig, use Bind Layer to bind the FBF to the appropriate bone in the skeleton.
Anything bound using the Bind Layer tool will be excluded from being affected by other bones.

Hi Borchc,
Wow! Lucky coincidence! I literally came back to this topic five minutes ago to watch the original video to see if I could reverse-engineer your setup, and in that time you posted the file!
Thank you very much for sharing your file and tutorial video. I'll be studying this today.

Re: Anybody has experience with Wacom Intuos Pro?
I agree with Alejandro: Wacom is the best, but you do pay a high price for it. A few years ago, I bought a 13-inch XP Pen display tablet and a similar Huion display tablet, each to use with the laptop I had at the time. Back then, I wanted a display tablet I could attach to the laptop without a sepa...

Re: Model Rigging Q: Best Practice for character turnarounds
This might sound like a cop-out answer, but there are so many ways to handle the mouth, and the best method depends on the character design and how it will be animated. I suggest experimenting and finding what works best for your situation. For me, I usually place the mouth in a Switch Layer and use...

Re: Model Rigging Q: Best Practice for character turnarounds
It depends on how complex you want to get. For some characters, going from 3/4 to 3/4 can be accomplished in a Smart Bone action. A common way is to parent the parts of the face to a bone and slide the bone from side to side. If you're working with Moho's vector layers, the Smart Bone Action can smo...

Re: Project organisation
Of course, you should do what works best for you and your project. If placing everything inside Moho works out for you, that's great! Every project is unique, so plan some time for experimentation. If it doesn't work out, there are other options to try. Let us know how it goes, especially if you lea...

Re: Project organisation
Oh, I see what you mean. IMO, if the animations and assets are fairly simple and the multiple shots in your production use the same assets over and over, it's probably okay to do it all in a single Moho project. But for me, personally, my project would get needlessly unwieldy and subject to poor per...
