Audio Layer Manipulation

What is the best way to move an audio recording on a given audio layer from one location on the timeline to another? Try as I might, I can't figure out how to do this. I have 3 or 4 short (a few seconds to 30 seconds) audio Layers in one animation and I'd like to sync them up better with the animati...

Answered my own question.... How do you change the size of your workspace? Step 1: From the "File" menu, select "Project Settings". Step 2: In "Dimensions" box, uncheck "Constrain Proportions" check box. Step 3: Adjust the values for "Width" and/or &...

How do you adjust the workspace size?

How do you adjust the workspace size? I've been working on two clips and just realized that the workspace in each one is quite different (one is much taller than the other) and that is causing a problem in composing a movie with the combination of the two using Adope Premiere. I would like to adjust...

slowtiger, I'm getting there :) I just used Anime to render with MPEG4-Video as the compression type and it produced a 4.2MB .mov file for which both audio and video were fine. I was hoping that Anime would not have the 847KB upper limit that I experience with just QuickTime Pro and that turned out ...

slowtiger, Thanks for the response. Re. your queston...you are correct. The Export of the .swf file didn't produce a viewable file. Since my post, I been trying to get MPEG-4 working so I'm going in the direction you recommend. It is tricky however because I get inconsistent results with the video. ...

Best compression type for rendering small files?

I would like to use Quicktime and a compatible compression type to render smaller files that what I'm currently getting. BACKGROUND: I use Anime Pro 8 and have some relatively simple .anme files each with a couple of cartoon characters walking and talking for about 19 sec. When I Export these files,...

Question Answered

Combined audio tracks are now working as expected. I found that I needed to close Anime Pro, reopen it to get my layer stack to work. Don't know what happened.

Multiple Audio Tracks - How do I combine them?

Background: I have a short (19sec) animation with two cartoon characters each following separate follow paths. I recorded one .wav audio track for one of the characters using pitch level 5. I recorded a second audio track for the other characte using pitch level 4. I saved both tracks and both appea...

sbtamu, Thanks to your input and that of others, I now have a method, hopefully repeatable, by which I can separate a left leg from a right leg and animate a couple of strides reasonable well. I had planned to get a couple of strides done then use Copy and Paste to replicate the strides in the "...

sbtamu, Thanks for the inputs. The link you provided ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfKjWuxoxSU&feature=youtu.be ) was helpful in that it suggests that, if I want good separation, I need to separate the components of my character quite far a part before I add the bones. My components were sepa...

Nolan, Thanks for the response. I do split the character apart before adding the bones but I now think that the problem is that I've been following the guidance of the use manual and deliberately establishing a linkage between the components by selecting the bone in the torso just before adding any ...

Bone Binding - Tutorial 5.6

I'm trying to bone a cartoon character derived by importing images of components of the character such as body, torso, right leg, left leg, etc. I'd like to end up with bone manipulation similar to that of the example in Anime Pro's Tutorial 5.6. The Turtorial's character has very complete separatio...
