Re: 13.5 BUGS Where do we report them.
Contact support, I've done that over the last month when I was working a lot on Moho. The support guys are super responsive and when you report bugs they're really good at pinpointing the information they need. It would be nice if there were a public bug tracker so you could avoid double reporting, ...

Phungus & Mowld Episode 2… took me long enough
Finally episode 2 of Phungus & Mowld is completed and I'd like to share two trailers with you folks. I've done the whole episode again as a one-man operation: all designs, animation, narration, script writing, editing, post-pro is done by me. All of it in my spare time between job and family. An...

Re: Phungus & Mowld Series (one-man project)
Just a thought, have you considered doing a community project on this? Blender does something of this sort, from what I understand, in which volunteers lend their expertise to a given project. They seem to produce some amazing animations and videos. Of course, this could become more complex with ma...

Re: M1 Macs and Moho?
I;m glad I heard that the 4444 versions tend to include alpha, so I was able to make my first test export with transperancies to bring into Final Cut Pro. Worked like a charm! Thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks!!!! This newest Moho update is going to be fun! I found that when exporting to ProRes 44...

Re: How to change the Line Thickness
Use this script: http://mohoscripts.com/script/sz_adjust_line_width This even works if you select a folder/bone layer/switch layer or a whole character rig. If you apply the line width change to that it'll adjust line widths for all layers contained within. I often use this when I have a rig that ha...

Easier Line Width & Scale Compensation Control
For better, easier and more flexible line/stroke width control of final rigs, I'd like to se the following improvements: 1) It would be nice if you could toggle scale compensation in one click for all layers contained inside a folder/bone layer/switch layer without having to check the box on EVERY. ...

Re: Crazy Wind
I still think that the current maximum wind strength at 100 is too weak. When I rigged my character who has floppy fins on his head, I set the bone dynamics so that it would move and bend in a natural way when he moves quickly. Character without wind only dynamic bones: https://www.youtube.com/watch...

Re: Layer order is not desired...
So just to make sure I understand this correctly, let's say for a 'body turn' you'd have a bunch of reference objects for the parts that need to go above or below other objects. I just assume you'd start with the source layers to be at the lowest possible place in the layer hierarchy, creating refer...

Re: Vitruvian Bones - This is great !
OK I did another test and this is what I found (to my disappointment). Yes you can flexi bind a switch layer No you can't just hit ⌘ + Shift + F to do that, you'll first have to select the switch layer, then select "Flexi Bind Layer" item in the menus, and then you can select the bones to ...

Re: Cartoon Animator 4 (CT4)
I've purchased Cartoon Animator 4 for a different project doing explainer videos. For that purpose CA4 is really nice, but if you want to do anything beyond that with it, it gets horribly cumbersome. Even editing and tweaking the pre-made motion capture actions and movement isn't as quick and smooth...

Re: Vitruvian Bones - This is great !
The one thing that was a bit of a letdown is that if you want to include a switch layer in the vitruvian bone setup you will have to bind every single layer that contains actual vectors to the flexi-bind group, just binding the top switch layer itself isn't going to work. Would be nice if that could...

Multithreading - How Many Threads
Just a quicky, but I found that Moho only renders on physical cores, so in my case I've got 8 cores with hyperthreading which does look like 16 cores to the OS, but whether you set multithreading to 8 threads or 16 there's no difference in performance. Doing a quick check when rendering a scene set ...

Re: Viewport Playback Performance Enhancements…
Same here.
None of the options in the Display Quality menu has any tangible impact on viewport playback performance.
The only thing I'm using the Display Quality menu for is to switch off fills to see all the shapes, like an x-ray mode.

Viewport Playback Performance Enhancements…
Improving performance of on screen redraws and real-time playback of the timeline by using acceleration APIs is one thing, but I found there's a cheesy trick on macOS that can massively improve performance (if you're using a highres 4k monitor). Just select the app in the Finder, hit ⌘ + I for the i...
