Re: Moho 12 randomly crashing when selecting layers

Sure hope the fix for Moho 12 on Mojave isn't "upgrade to the new Moho 13--now available!" :P Yep, best way to blast yourself to oblivion. I gave up on Macromedia crap back in the day, because that was their general strategy. However, I also fail to comprehend how any software development houses wo...

Re: Papagayo 2.0 beta 1

I'm a first time user of Papagayo, although I've been using Anime Studio Pro since the Moho days. I'm dabbling in lip syncing, so I felt I'd use this app. I give it, it's a beta, but even considering that, on OS X (10.9.4), Papagayo 2.0 beta 1 seems barely usable. Is there any way to play back the a...

Re: Announcement: Papagayo 1.2 Mac OSX 10.8 Working Version

Will this also work on Mavericks 10.9.3?

The current official release 1.2 won't even launch on Mavericks.

Open Source...

I really think if the developer doesn't have the time to get this application anywhere (I still recall how quickly it used to advance just about a few years ago...) he should consider making it Open Source.

BTW there's already Open Source competition, at least on Linux:

So, do Apple have the equivalent of, umm, delete forward/right ? Yes on the extended keyboards (which are now standard on all Macs, but weren't in the 80s). So many people are not aware that there's a backspace and a delete key. Also on the laptops (PowerBooks) the "real" delete key is rather hard ...

Speaking of Flash animation

Here's a site with fairly simple (if you look very close), but very well done animation. They really found out how to make you believe there's much more motion going on than there actually is. http://www.mondominishows.com/ If you're on OS X you'll find that their Flash detection Java-Script is too ...

Spirited Away and anything else from Miyazaki, I loved "Tonari no Totoro" (or whatever it's called in English), because it's a very cute story and a very innocent movie, but Spirited Away was crap. Most Japanese people I know (and I know a lot, I've been living in Tokyo now for 7 years) didn't like...

I had the same problem when trying to input Japanese. Then I found out that even German Roman characters (äöü ÄÖÜ ß) won't work.

For some reason it takes only ASCII text in the input field and therefore makes the tool pretty useless.

I meant typographically correct titles, in the sense of using curly quotes and real dashes instead of straight quotes and hyphens. In Mac OS all the typographically correct punctuation is a keystroke away, but those keystrokes and anything else beyond ASCII are just ignored. I really don't feel like...

It is beautiful and has a very dense atmosphere. I've seen it a while ago on:

http://www.iwantmyflashtv.com/ , another very nice site which is like a portal for tons of Flash animation.

This site is amazing, it really raised my anticipation for a terribly cool flash animation, and then when I watched the animation I was shocked how ugly and sloppily drawn the characters are. I'd call Ninjai the Microsoft of Flash movies. They make you hot for what's to come and once you get it you'...

5b4 on OS X: text tool

Just tried to insert text and I ran into a problem. I can't blame you that you don't support typing Japanese text (although it would be really great), but I can't even use my German keyboard layout to type specific German characters (you know: äöü ÄÖÜ and ß). I can't use the deadkeys in the US keybo...

5b3 OS X: Flash export bug (horizontal lines)

Whenever I export any animation from Moho 5b3 on OS X 10.3.5, I get weird horizontal lines (like noise) in the Flash file. The funny thing is if I import this flash movie into Flash MX 2004 and the re-export it, the lines are gone. :?: :? :?: Looks like a Moho bug to me. Here's an example: http://ww...

5b3 OS X: more little bugs

There are a few more bugs I've found in the OS X beta 3: • When choosing "Quit" from the contextual menu of the Moho Icon in the Dock nothing happens. • When choosing from the menu bar Window>>Arrange, the Dock in OS X is ignored and some of the rearranged windows overlap with the Dock (I have my Do...
