Re: extra unwanted stroke to selected objects?

Ticking off GPU caching and restarting my cputer made all lines the same thickness. Thicker than the rendered version, but all the same. I guess I'll live with it for now (my file is a bit crowded, I may clean it eventually for you to see if it becomes too annoying, but thanks for offering)

Re: select shape in a different layer?

Thanks a lot Greenlaw, it was ALt+R, and I didn't realize it works with other tools. That's pretty great.

select shape in a different layer?

I may be wrong but I sort of remember from a long time ago that there was a shortcut to select a shape (Q) located in a different layer than the one selected. Not sure if it's a false memory or if there is indeed such modifier key. Would be a great time saver to not to have to select the layer befor...

Re: extra unwanted stroke to selected objects?

I see the thin version.

Is there such thing as the practice of clearing preferences/cache with Moho? How do I go about that?

extra unwanted stroke to selected objects?

I had never noticed it before but objects within a selected layer seem to get their stroke wider. It doesn't show on render so I guess it's a display thing to indicate what's selected but it's really problematic once you scale down the layer even a little. Here's a screen video, it shows much better...

Re: Merge layers?

Thnak you so much! I'll try that script. It's true that I could have used the import svg option in that particular case.

Merge layers?

So there is now a button to merge shapes. But is there a way to merge layers? Putting all shapes in one single layer. Perhaps a script that does it? For example I just imported an svg with tons of different layers for something that could really be in just one, and wish I could avoid selectall/copy/...

Re: Designing on frame zero

In case of mesh layer, it can only be deformed after frame 0. I do my rigging in 0 and test in following frames, jumping back and forth — how else would one do it? I'm talking about design in general. I have to create and draw on frame 0, which unfortunately cannot show me the final composition sinc...

Designing on frame zero

I've never totally come to term with the usage of frame 0 so perhaps you can help. When I start working on a scene, I first do the general design, drawing my background, characters and positioning everything together to see what works best in terms of composition. I do that on frame 0 of course caus...

Re: "Tint brush using stroke color" makes stroke transparent??

Just confirmed that it needs to be all black to be opaque. Well in that case, that passage in the manual: "Tint brush using stroke color: For brushes that are colored (not all black) this option allows the brush to take on the selected stroke color instead of the color displayed in the brush se...

Re: Paint bucket in tutorial

Hey Greenlaw, I was never a big user of the paint tool and have always used the shape select tool for changing style as well. I was merely pointing out the error in the Moho tutorial, cause if you follow it you end up creating a new shape on to of your circle. One thing I didn't know is that it fill...

Paint bucket in tutorial

Hey guys, so I'm back to Moho after many many years and with an actual work project (so I guess you'll here from me more in coming weeks). I purchased the new version and told myself I might as well do the quick start part of the tutorial, as a refresher, and just on the second section I'm scratchin...

Impossible to get evenly spaced particles following a path

I have path in the shape of a horizontal wave. I set a rectangle to follow that path (with layer bending option )from start to end with simple linear key points. I put that rectangle in a particle layer in order to have multiple iterations of the move, emitted at a constant frequency (evenly spaced)...

Re: Alpha not working on Mac?

Thanks for looking into it Greenlaw.

Aside from the Video w Alpha issue, my guess is that the manual should be updated to reflect the actual video output formats available.
