Approaching backgrounds?

Okay this isn't a question on "How do I make backgrounds" but this is more of a question for every animator on how you approach backgrounds. Right now I'm working on a animated series. The characters are completely 2D animated in Moho but the backgrounds are done 100% in 3D to give a Gumba...

Moho Pro 13 PNG Import Not Transparent

Okay this is kind of annoying I'm creating something in photoshop I tried getting rid of the background so its checkerboard I tried making it pure white but no matter what when I try to import a PNG it will always import with some kind of backdrop and never transparent and its a bit frustrating. Any...

Re: Any rumblings of a date for Moho 13 yet?

Its because the new team is mostly programmers consist of no actual animators.. That's why keep expectations super low the team developing the software currently really have little to no animation experience.

Re: Any rumblings of a date for Moho 13 yet?

Honestly I think a lot of people are going to be disappointed. I wouldn't expect anything game changing like better vector drawing tools, bitmap drawing tools, or better fbf features. I feel this update will focus on very little things with the 3D being the main highlight.

Re: Any rumblings of a date for Moho 13 yet?

I cant believe there is still no word not even a tease for a possible release date.. Its been almost two years and I'm getting a tad bit tired of waiting. I love Moho and its truly the best animation software however this long of a wait for a new version is kind of ridiculous. However I understand i...

Re: Any rumblings of a date for Moho 13 yet?

Any news yet? I swear its been a century. I've been really holding the gun from not trying out Toon Boom but I love Moho so much more. I hope we at least get version 13 by November. I mean read the financial thing and talked to one of the developers. All I know its supposed to be out this year howev...

Re: Follow Curve - Now updated for Moho 12

http://www.mediafire.com/file/k0d5tdydzhzdotu/HS%20Follow%20Curve%20V520.zip there are no changes to the core functionality -- just an update to use the Moho 12 UI. This new version will not work with AS11 or earlier versions - but the previous versions are still there for download. Bug reports / e...

Bobby The Bear Animation Tests

This is a animation test for Bobby The Bear. In this test I'll be doing a simple head turn by using squash and stretch methods which is a very important principle in animation. This was mostly just practice so I could get use to my animated set up with him as well as warm up to the character. This w...

Re: Slime Animation Test 12FPS VS 24FPS

Like I said on facebook , it needs context. This isn't enough to go on. What are the backgrounds, colours, the type of other action... Most importantly the nature and content of the story. If it's just this, we are seeing a handful of frames repeated, it is tempting to go 24 just for that reason, I...

Slime Animation Test 12FPS VS 24FPS

This is a quick test to see which is better with animation 24FPS which gives off a more smooth look or 12FPS with a more choppy look that has a certain charm? So please comment down below or in the post this was shared on to tell me which you think is better. Your answer can impact a certain project...

Internet Explorer-Chan Jump (Reanimated)

Sorry I haven't posted in a while but I've been really busy with my own series and some side projects so here is something I did on the side a bit ago but never got around to posting it until now. I will try to post some other stuff until I can make an official announcement sometime for my series an...

Re: Moho Pro 12 Smart Bone Layer Nesting Issue

So your saying if I group my head, eyes, mouth, front hair, and hair one in a group it will possibly fix this? I rather avoid doing a separate action I would like the smart bones to handle that for me if possible. Yes, basically. Something like this structure: STACY BONE LAYER |__Head | |__Hair | |...

Re: Moho Pro 12 Smart Bone Layer Nesting Issue

Hi, Without seeing motion or any labels, I'm not exactly sure what your setup is here but I hope I can still help. FYI, it is possible to create conflicts between Smart Bones if you've keyframed the same items in each Smart Bone. If you have two Smart Bones animating the same items, you generally w...

Moho Pro 12 Smart Bone Layer Nesting Issue

Okay I'm having a issue I'm sorry if this is the wrong place please move it to the proper place if it is in the wrong place. Anyways now that we got that out of the way I'm unsure if this is a bug or I'm doing something wrong but it seems one of my smart bones overwrites my other one with layer nest...
