... well you're not going to believe this but I figured it out.

By changing the frame rate to 40 I was able to see the text at the tail of my scene. I slid it left a random amount, leaving lots of padding at the end. Then, I changed it back to 30 fps.

I think Papagayo maxes out at 2700 frames. I have a wav file that's about 2000 frames long. When I bring in dialogue I can't access or see in any way the last few lines of text. Only when I delete some text can I see the last lines. Any suggestions (including maybe a bit of coding) to extend the max...

I figured it out.

Right click the orange (on my system) word. That brings up the phonomes. You can edit them all you like or add your own. Perfect!
