Re: Layer Binding within Groups
Thanks for your reply Victor. Sorry for my ignorance. i'm working at a school with version 10, im not sure it has nested layers control. The weird thing is, one student managed to see and use the bind layer tool when on a grouped image layer, while for another student the bind layer tool remained in...

Re: switching target bones on/off?
hi
yes, its not actual targeting, but a workaround where you let an extra bone on the bottom character control the nested bonegroup of the top character.
its not as flexible as having target bones in the bottomcharacter would be, but as a workaround it worked.

Re: switching target bones on/off?
on the facebook Moho page Alexander Wilhelm gave me this solution: Put the top one with its bone layer into the others bone-layer, then you can bind this bone layer to any bone of the other. so the whole character would be linked to a bone of the bottom one. this could be also a new one, that you ca...

Re: How do I link bones from different bone layer?
Reality...? Entities...? Real life...? Sorry, I truly don't know what you are talking about but I challenge any animator to say that a parent between different bone layers wouldn't be more than useful. ha, i second that. i need a character to stand on top of another. what i learn from this thread i...

Re: switching target bones on/off?
How would you solve this:
a character rests his hand against a wall, you need a smartbone to keep it steady, then he continuous elsewhere, now the smartbone is in the way.

switching target bones on/off?
is it possible to animate target bones on/off in the timeline. This is a function i would need a lot, but i did not come across a method to do it ....in any tutorial so far. So if not... what would be a good way to achieve similar effect putting the target bone in a switch layer? (i'm not sure how t...

How to add a keyframe using a keyboard shortcut
my question is in the title.
How to add a keyframe using a keyboard shortcut.
i could not find a way to custom assign key's in the program.
Now i'm wondering is my aproach wrong ?
Shouldn't adding keyframes be one of the most important actions in an animation software, so why is there no short cut?

rig a bitmap character that is on separate layers
Hello animation friends. My problem is the following i have a bitmap drawing of a jellyfish character that i want to rig. the layer binding for a single tentacle works fine, i get a nice bending of the bitmap using a couple of bones with the right strength setting. just what i need! however when i r...
