Re: Anyone interested in teaming up?

I managed to get more parts of the pilot script done and even planned a few short episode ideas for a 10-episode- first season if I work hard on it. The Pilot: We know this plot. Rice And Beans: When Dom gets framed for a incident at Publix resulting in an injury, Dom gets fired from being manager. ...

Re: Anyone interested in teaming up?

I usually write in capitals in real life and I think capitals are better looking, but if it bothers you that much, I can write in lower-case and proper formatting. And, yes the brand names can be fixed, and the slow motion and phone problems too. And yeah, the family are all in the kitchen and Eric ...

Re: Anyone interested in teaming up?

Here's the first scene. The formatting kind of messed up, but you can read it fine. (SETTING, PLOT, PLACE: ERIC IS IN THE KITCHEN, JUST WOKE UP, DECIDING WHAT HE WANTS FOR BREAKFAST.) ERIC: (YAWNS). AH, GOOD MORNING. MAN, WHAT TO EAT. (HE OPENS THE CABINET) ERIC: FROSTED FLAKES. NO. APPLE JACKS. EH....

Re: Anyone interested in teaming up?

@Danimal

They could always be printed out invitations.

And, that subplot idea for the gays isn't bad it all. Thanks.

@Steve.

Yeah, the flashback scene could be removed good until the future.

I think I can remove the 2003 part. I thought maybe a flashback could start off a good series. The milk scene is present-day. I think I'll just start off with the milk scene to begin the episode. The milk scene is supposed to represent that the family is a good together family. It was just a summary...

Re: Anyone interested in teaming up?

I managed to write a brief summary of what the pilot episode should be about. The show begins with a cold open with Dom and Danielle discussing in the year 2003 about having a kid as there lives have become so dull. They agree on having a kid and the scene transfers to present-day and Dom, Danielle,...

Re: Anyone interested in teaming up?

Thanks for the support. I chose two gay neighbors because I feel the show needs a little inappropriate matter in the show. Not alot as in the original script, but only a little. Plus, I had two men who said they are "business partners" living next to me a few years back, and turned Chris a...

Re: Anyone interested in teaming up?

Okay. I didn't write a script yet, but did come up with some basic stories for the "new" Vermonters. The characters hobbies/jobs were quick, but might become better over-time. Dom, Danielle, and Eric live in Vermont, in present-day. (They don't move or anything as in the old script). Dom i...

Re: Anyone interested in teaming up?

@SteveRyan Thanks. I'll definitely work on it.
@SynthSin As my friends say, my jokes are pretty funny and I do like animation. I want to create an animation with my jokes, but the main characters and place is a thing I'm lacking badly.

Re: Anyone interested in teaming up?

Thank you guys for the feedback. I do admit, the script doesn't have any "why" answers. However, I did write the thing in about 4 hours within one week. And too much "f" this and "f that. I guess that's why South Park and Family Guy suck now. When writing it, I either wanted...

Re: Anyone interested in teaming up?

Definitely. I think there's a few jokes like the Century 21 and the "Nick" er one, even though it's not referring to anyone. Thanks for the feedback. Any other jokes that your referring to? I also changed the scene where Dom finds out to a month later. I figured that would give enough time.

Re: Anyone interested in teaming up?

Hey, I finished the pilot rough draft script for ''The Vermonters''. It's 10-13 minutes, at least.

Please let me know what you think of it. Any comments, thoughts, anything at all.

First script ever written.

Re: Anyone interested in teaming up?

I'd say about 2 minutes worth of jokes. Mostly slang is involved by some of the kids' in the script but I don't count those as jokes.
