Re: Adjust the size of the Tools icons

Oh its actually worse than I thought.
The icons are huge, but the hit area for the buttons is still small so everything is misaligned!

I'll fiddle around with more settings to see if I can fix this.

Adjust the size of the Tools icons

Hi all - I am getting back into Moho after a long break and am running into a UI issue. In Moho 13.5.5, the tools menu seems absurdly large compared to the rest of the program. The icons are actually cut off in some cases. This seems independent of the Windows UI scaling, which affects the whole pro...

Re: Moho file hangs forever on "Opening..." load

Thank you, Greenlaw. I did just try importing the file, but it just loads forever again. I'll try loading it onto 12.1, which I have on a laptop. *EDIT* No luck with 12.1, it hangs on the "Opening" file phase just like in 12.2. I really wish I knew what happened to cause this - is the file...

Moho file hangs forever on "Opening..." load

Hello friends, Have any of you encountered this? My other files open just fine, but it seems one file in particular won't ever open - the "Opening" loading bar appears and it just hangs there. I waited for half an hour before giving up and force-quitting Moho 12.2. The strange thing is thi...

Re: How to use Reference Layers in fun, tricky ways (video)

I'm glad it was useful for people! :) KeeCoyote: I do put the original AND the references in a bone layer, since I want both to be affected by the bone movement. I haven't noticed any issues with putting both in a bone layer. Once you have the original layer's vector points bound to the bone, the re...

How to use Reference Layers in fun, tricky ways (video)

Hey everyone - Here's a video tutorial I made that goes over some of the ways I use reference layers to keep complicated rigs easy to control. Main topics include: How to control a mask + masked object all from the same layer, and how to combine reference layers with Hide Edge for interesting effect...

12 seconds of Rakitty & Bearcoon

Hey Everyone! Some of you may know I'm working on a 6 minute cartoon using Anime Studio, and I'm very committed to achieving a very textural, watercolor look. I now have 12 seconds of it to show off as a little sample. Enjoy: rz33o_4_WYU In the coming weeks I'll be posting tutorials on some of the A...

Re: Moving a pile of leaves with physics

That's a good idea, having some "hero" leaves that hold the bulk of the animation work. I will try that :)

Moving a pile of leaves with physics

Hey Everyone - I have a fun problem to solve. Take a look at the GIF of a scene I'm animating: http://www.paperwaspnest.com/storage/RakittyLeafPileWIP.gif The white area will soon be a pile of leaves on the ground. My character scoops them up and lifts some of them off the ground. Now, I'm ready to ...

Re: "Import by reference" breaks character's reference layer

Thank you! Yep, I have been using the general import option as I've begun animating. However I have indeed made improvements to my rigs and its kind of a bummer the already animated scenes can't be updated with those changes easily. Animating those scenes were what caused me to see the flaws in my r...

"Import by reference" breaks character's reference layers

Unsure of this being a bug or user error. I have a character who uses a few reference layers to avoid having to dig through many nested layer masks when I want to manipulate the points in the original shape. For example the mouth: I have the source mouth layer on the top of my layer stack, set to &q...

File is missing when I import a character

Hello there - When I import my character rig into a new scene, I get the following dialog box: http://i64.tinypic.com/244p9gk.jpg This box pops up eight times in a row. If I say "Yes" and try to find the missing file, it never mentions what the file type is, or where the missing file is su...

Re: Frame Rate on Multi-Brush "frame-to-frame randomness"

While you guys were responding here, I was in Anime Studio setting up a cycling opacity swap animation on three different brush strokes - all applied to the same path. http://i63.tinypic.com/v6p444.gif It works! I didn't know about the Shape drop down list at all, so I animated these by changing the...
