Re: Transform tool, Layer tool and stroke width
You can scale strokes with the line width tool. If you compare the shape's style stroke width, you can see it doesn't change. The line width tool is actually scaling that stroke width by a percentage. But this is independent of scaling the shape with the transform points tool. I'm sure the transfor...

Re: Transform tool, Layer tool and stroke width
Try disabling Scale Compensation in the layer settings. There it is! Thanks. This does, yet, I think leave a space for being able to turn stroke width scaling on or off in the Transform tool. Because true as it is that disabling Scale Compensation does the trick, it's more of a global command, whic...

Transform tool, Layer tool and stroke width
hi, if I scale a vector drawing with the M-layer tool, the width of the stroke scales proportionally. If I scale it with the T-transform tool, the stroke width doesn't change. Two questions: 1) is there a way to tell M-layer tool to NOT scale the stroke? I seem to remember there was but I may be dre...

MOHO 14 Freehand tool sluggish as strokes are added (when brush visualisation is active)
I prefer drawing than modelling, so I reeeeeally appreciate the MOHO 14 improvements on the Freehand tool. It's smooth and does very little to none of that annoying post-stroke adjustment it used to have. Many thanks to the team for this much needed step towards a more "manual" feeling MOH...

Re: Onion Skinning through layers in Switch Layers
Another workaround I just tried is to create a Frame-by-frame group, create my drawings within that by using the + add frame button, and then drag the layers into a new group which I then convert to Switch. That isn't a workaround - it is the Ultimate solution. No need to convert it to a switch lay...

Re: Onion Skinning through layers in Switch Layers
So you can do this with Onion Skinning. Set Onion Skin content: .. On Frame 1 : Make Switch layer A active Enable onion Skin and Set your Onion Skin Frame to be Frame 1 On Frame 0, select Switch layer B - and you should see Frame 1 content Onion Skinned (as below - green is onion) https://i.ibb.co/...

Re: Onion Skinning through layers in Switch Layers
There are two ways to deal with this: a manual method and a script method. 1. The manual switch viewing method: What I do is I create an empty group layer above the Switch layer and simply drag all the drawings into this group. Now all the layers are visible. When I'm done editing or adding layers,...

Onion Skinning through layers in Switch Layers
Is there a straightforward way to view layers other than the active one in Switch Layer groups? The obvious problem arises when I'm trying to draw variants of parts of a character. Banal example, different hand positions. Of course, I can freehand draw or build the new hand without necessarily needi...

Re: Perspective for folders
"a truer prespective" sounds ... odd. The thing with perspective is that it's a distortion of the projected image of things which follows some (simple) rules. First rule: everything in an image seen through the same lens is sharing the same perspective. In constructing perspective of diff...

Re: Perspective for folders
Sorry, where I wrote Perspective I mean Rotate Layer tool, which can sort of be used like a perspective tool and it works on groups as well as other layers. I sometimes use this to force a low camera perspective on characters. As noted by GGoblin, the tool that's actually called Perspective, found ...

Re: Perspective for folders
Hi Reindeer, what do you mean by 'perspective tool' ? There is a Perspective Points tool, that will only work on points inside vector layers. Then there is Shear Layer and Rotate Layer XY tools which will work on layers including vector layers and image layers. These also work fine on group layers ...

Perspective for folders
As far as I can tell I can use the Perspective tool only on vector layers and image layers.
If I want to distort more layers at once by putting them into a folder layer, I can only rotate the folder without prospective distortion. Am I correct or am I missing some hidden option?

Re: Layer order not updating in referenced layers
Just a warning and some tips for using reference projects... Be careful about putting animation on the timeline for master projects you intend to reference in other projects. If you change the animation in the master later one, you risk wiping out any different animation you may have previously cre...

Re: Layer order not updating in referenced layers
Do you have keyframes? It won't update if keyframes for the layer order change don't exist. You might need to make a 'trigger' keyframe in both projects on an animation frame before the reference will pick up on the layer order change. If this is meant to be an animation change as opposed to a rig ...
