I have(what I consider,at least)a pretty important request

And this seemed like the place to ask it! I have written a lot of scripts. And because of that, I have a fairly important request, could use some help. With the number of ones I have written, I have a diffuculty. And that is that, unfortunately, I don't have any of them. This is for a number of reas...

Perhaps similar to what selgin has said he uses on his 3D figures. I've used the same I've done for VFX work that I've done in Moho as the root.

Binding sub-bone layers to upper layers is cake. Most of the problems I've had with the "bind layer" tool have because I did something wrong.

've got Moho, but I find it really, incredibly, insanely hard to draw with Many folks find the freehand tool too sensitive. The default setting make a lot of points. For sketching, I usually set the pixel tolerance from 12 to 16, and the angle tolerance from 16 to 20. The pixel tolerance determines...

I stand corrected. I can't remember the last time I used the flexi-binding, so I completely forgot about that.

Geez, I totally missed that that was put in! I was still wishing for it. My life just got a lot easier... Thanks for pointing that out, Myles.

Maybe some clarification from one of the comments above - the Layer Origin doesn't really affect how a layer, if attached to a bone, moves. It's really only relevant to 2 things. First, layer rotation. Second, layer ordering in 3D space (if you are using "sort by distance" in the projects settings) ...

I'll look at the file format that it puts out. If there isn't anything to odd about it I'll hook it up. Might be fun to play with, besides perhaps useful.

Go to http://www.Motionblur.it and get the Camera Converter scripts. That's the format I based the Moho importer and exporter on, and there's a 3DSMax exporter in there.

Ack, Ovjeh, ya beat me to it...

Yeah, Like heyvern said. Go and get GSpot ( http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ ), very handy little program that will tell you the codec you are using, and a raft of other details about various and sundry video files. Take the 3 gig video file you were talking about and see what it says for playback bi...

As selgin said, uncompressed video can be huge, and the block might be in the hard drive access speed. Don't know what size you are exporting at, but it can help to split the workload between the drive and the processor. Usually, if I need a lossless AVI I want to play in realtime, I'll encode it wi...

Well, the problem on Macs where none of the file dialogs called from scripts (and many within the main program) don't work seems pretty catastrophic, has been mentioned many times... http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5622 http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6051 http://www....

I'm going to make a wild guess you're on a Mac. There seems to be a general problem with file dialogs that got introduced between the last version of Moho and Anime Studio on Macs. Seems to be a problem with the way that the Lua script engine interfaces with the main program, so the core functions w...

So, whats your solution? I was going to write a script that would convert all fills and outlines to a shade of gray that would be dependent on the layers distance from the "camera". I don't think it would be all that hard, and I might do it if theres some general interest, as it has been mentioned b...

There are 2 main ways of making them work. IE takes a bit of hacking to make them work properly. First set of techniques use JavaScript to do a bunch of stuff on the client side to add the changes needed to all PNG image tags in the document before it gets to the server. I found this one at http://h...
