"update layer reference" convinences

it would be nice if there was a way to one-click or hotkey the "update layer reference" of a layer. i almost always use "replace mismatched vectors", so i wish that could be saved as default. so instead of the clicks of "update layer reference" > check "replace mis...

Multi-layer vector edit

it would be nice if multiple vector layers were selected, you could edit all of the points and shapes as if they were all on the same layer.

12 frame FBF run-cycle

24 fps on ones, pretty pleased with it, though i was slowed down a tad by the masking limitations of the software
the character is "Lancer" from the popular game Deltarune

Re: Frame by frame masking improvements

Group layers (like FBF switches) don't have strokes to exclude. Only vector sublayers do. What you can do is what we did before we had exclude strokes. You can put an unmasked stroke-only reference above the masked group. yeah, i was worried it might be something like that. i was just hoping that t...

Frame by frame masking improvements

hello, could it be possible to make it so that frame-by-frame layers have the same "exclude strokes" checkbox that vectors do when used as an "add to mask"? i find it very useful, but it is unavailable on FBF layers

Yeah, while I haven't ran into this specific problem before, when I have SIMILAR problems I just export as png and convert it into a sequence in Premiere.

Unchecking "Immune to camera movements" also works in most situations.

Colors rendering incorrectly?

Hi, I've been using this software for nearly 5 years now, and I believe the first version I used was 8 (I am using 11 at the moment) and I have encountered a problem I've never had before, the colors seem to be darkened. When viewed in the viewport or a still image is rendered, the colors display co...

Re: Ideas on animating the inside of a covered serving dish?

This technique can help with that: http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1443 But consider it can by tricky to setup for your example. Moho, now that's a name I havent seen in a long time... Perhaps I can make it work by masking the warp bone layer into a silver circle? This could actuall...

Re: HOW DO I LIGHTEN SCENES FOR EXPORT?

If you were using the draw/blob draw functions heavily (outlines, hair, stars, etc) with a lot of points, you are going to want to reduce the vertices on as many of the objects as possible to speed up rendering, as the excess assets are needlessly eating up resources. You can use the Scripts>Simply ...

As far as my 4+ years of finessing my way through AS, I don't recall any way to do that. You'll probably just have to copy-paste them.

Ideas on animating the inside of a covered serving dish?

Hello, I need to animate the inside of a metal lid, the kind that goes on top of the serving dishes commonly potrayed in movies and such. https://i.gyazo.com/fac6b6a87e8926b67ea1daac73ce1d17.png The camera is situated to a black screen when the scene starts, only for the dish to be lifted up and rev...
