Re: Quicktime format option not showing on 'export animation

Yep, it was that. I reinstalled moho (this time also the 32bit files) and now it shows. Thanks!

Quicktime format option not showing on 'export animation'

I've recently formatted my PC (updated Windows 7 to 10) and installed Moho pro 12 again. The thing is that previous to formatting my PC I was already working on a project animating characters with a transparent background and exporting them in Quicktime format (with the "animation" preset ...

Re: Parent and un-parent an object from a character's hand

The simple solution: duplicate the object, place one on the table, include the other one into the character rig (bind it to the hand) and make it invisible. Switch visibility when needed. You can also animate the bone parenting. To do that, the object must be inside of the bone layer and be bound t...

Parent and un-parent an object from a character's hand

There might be a simple solution to this, but I couldn't find and andswer to it yet. I want to make characters grab objects from the background or from other characters hands. So basically I want to know how to parent that object to a character's hand at the moment the character grabs it and un-pare...

Re: Replicate After Effects puppets

Sure. Here's one way from Victor Paredes: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/54411/AS8/forum/Rubber%20arm%20tutorial.mp4 I asked a similar question a few months ago here: http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=20410&p=174470&hilit=noodle#p174470 Victor's tutorial uses vect...

Replicate After Effects puppets

http://i.imgur.com/akjjaaN.jpg Whenever I work with characters with really thin limbs, the regular usage of bones doesn't make the character's animation in question look all that right. I find the sharp flexing of a really thin limb to look rather broken, so in those cases I would love to make the ...

Re: Use actions as reference for other actions independently

You can make a new action and copy or cut paste the keys into the new action. I do this stuff often for walks and the like where I separate arm and leg movements. I love the creature so far :) Well thank you! I mean, sure, I can copy the animation of the wings that I want for reference into the act...

Re: Character's limbs going through target bones

Following what you said, I think I might have found the issue. Apparently, the problem is not the target but the lower leg bone, as it has to be somewhat curved to the direction of the knee because otherwise (if it is slightly curved opposite to the direction of the knee) it will block the leg from ...

Use actions as reference for other actions independently

I'm working on an animating this flying creature with bones and meshes. I already animated a flight cycle for the wings in the "Flight (wings)" action, and now I want to do the same for the body in a separate action called "Flight (Body)" . I need the reference of the wings movin...

Re: Character's limbs going through target bones

It happened to me rarely like you said, and I was always able to fix it by deleting the target or the bones related to that target and building a new one. But now it happens %100 of the time and I can't tell what triggered the absolute persistence of this problem. I already tried what you said and n...

Character's limbs going through target bones

I've already created some characters and rigged them on Moho, gave them target bones, added angle constrains on the limbs that I wanted to look right, animated them and everything was working good and dandy. But since a few days ago I've been having a problem with target bones whenever I try to rig ...

Export without broken colors? (best export settings)

So this is export thing is driving me mad. I want to export my animation sequence into a video file but I cannot get it to look right (the only way I found to look it right makes the file size to be 100th times bigger than it's counterparts, so there has to be another way). Here I took screenshots o...

Make a character move across different backgrounds layers

So I'm working on a short film and I need my character to walk across different depht levels on the background. The screenshots illustrates basically what I want to achieve: I want the character to start from being behind the "Land 01" layer to end up being in front of it. Any suggestions ...
