Re: Poor quality mp4 rendering

I almost purchased Vegas earlier this week because it was on sale (wow it's expensive) but I figured I just recently purchased PowerDirector and it's probably a good starting place for beginners. PowerDirector has the option to export using h265 but the max bit rate allowable is significantly less t...

Re: Poor quality mp4 rendering

I am trying to get a better understanding of video compression and codecs. I have the full version of MagicYUV. Out of the compressors offered, which would be ideal for a Moho export? The options are: RGBA RGB YUVA 4:4:4:4 YUV :4:4:4 YUV 4:2:2 YUV 4:2:0 YUV 4:0:0 (GREYSCALE) 10 BIT RGBA 10 BIT RGB 1...

Re: Poor quality mp4 rendering

I'm sorry, I made a mistake above. I meant that the final file will be MP4, not AVI. I was hoping I could cut down on color banding by working with higher quality video files within the video editor. I was having an issue with choppy exports so I bought an Evo 970 plus NVME drive. The exports are no...

Re: Poor quality mp4 rendering

There is a lot of good information here. For people that are stubborn and lazy because they don't want to deal with the headache of all those PNG files and working with the audio outside of Moho, which lossless codec would be ideal for exporting to a video editor? Specifically, which MagicYUV codec ...

Kamilla & Chomblay - Episode 2

Thank you again to everyone that contributes on these forums. I would be so very lost without it. I read how file formats can cause color banding and other issues. I wanted to keep the files as uncompressed AVI but those exports were choppy unless they were exported directly to my SSD which has limi...

Re: Kamilla and Chomblay

Thanks for posting that. Based off the demo video, I don't know if it's quite decent enough. Maybe I will get faster with the process. I honestly don't think Papagayo would be much faster than editing within Moho either though. The automatic sync is pretty poor, even if you enter the speech text in....

Re: Kamilla and Chomblay

I appreciate your feedback Eric. Those animations are actually my work though and not presets, as are the characters. I have very little experience drawing anything so this has been quite a challenge. I am mostly enthusiastic about story telling and voice acting. I'm not particularly passionate abou...

Kamilla and Chomblay is my first Moho animation project. All constructive criticism is appreciated.

Re: Resume Cycled Action After Keyframing

Thank you for the responses. I figured out that the main issue was rather simple and left me feeling silly. One of my character's walk cycle had a startup that differed very little from the rest of the key-frames. The other had a six frame startup that was practically impossible to blend mid action....

Resume Cycled Action After Keyframing

I haven't needed to register on the forums until now because this is the first time I haven't found the answer by searching. Thanks to everyone providing help here it has been a valuable resource and I am extremely grateful. I have been learning animation and using the software for about two months ...
