Re: DKWROOT Scripts ( Lots of Improvements )

I updated the mirror and swap points scripts. They're menu scripts now and they can handle both bezier handles and strokes. DOWNLOAD : https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bwzk-fAhFYDzOGFzdmNCX1pvME0 Today I've been trying to understand how to use your fantastic Mirror Points and Swap Side scripts. Th...

Re: Smartbone dials: separate actions VS unique action

Don't get too hung up on learning every possible technique--it's possible that you may not ever need some of that stuff. Just get good with a few techniques and see how far you can push them. Moho's 'basics' can actually take you a long way when you know them well. Re: mixed smart bones, make sure ...

Re: Smartbone dials: separate actions VS unique action

...or putting a layer transform in one SBA and a group transform in the other... ...or layer or point transform in one SBA and bone transform in the other... I can go on and on because there are many possibilities for separating the animations to prevent conflicts. The best approach will depend on ...

Smartbone dials: separate actions VS unique action

While I'm getting more and more confident with Moho, I still ask myself something since day 1: when I make a new smartbone dial, I don't know if I should go for the separate actions or one unique action. I'm talking about complex rigs, for example: when making a "head turn Left-Right" Smartbone dial...

Re: Tips for using meshes with vector layers

The problem is what I found here: https://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=186574#p186574 Your file can be solved by scaling the smart mesh points up until the eye quits jumping on frame one, and then scale the smart mesh layer back down to the original size. The issue has already been repo...

Re: Tips for using meshes with vector layers

Sure, glad to help. I'm sorry I can't explain the original problem...I want to take another look at it later and try to understand it better myself. I made it! I dont understand why this problem happens, but after many tests now I know what is happening and how to solve it without having to make ch...

Re: Tips for using meshes with vector layers

Here's an example of how I like to use a custom mesh warp for the eye... I hope this helps and gives you some ideas to try. Good luck! Thank you so much! I always learn a lot from your explanations on this forum. That was exactly the technique I was trying to explore, to use meshes for head turns l...

Re: Tips for using meshes with vector layers

Aditional findings: *Problem definition: the mesh seems to destroy the drawing it controles (you have to go to frame 1 or more too see it), it looks like the drawing implodes to the center of the layer. I have to make the mesh so much bigger than it should be just to prevent that from happening. [*]...

Re: Tips for using meshes with vector layers

Which version of Moho are you using? FWIW, I'm using the latest 13 and mesh warping seems to work fine here. Yes, posting an example project will help us see what he problem is. Without seeing anything, my guess is that the vector drawing wasn't created to support the deformations your attempting w...

Tips for using meshes with vector layers

Hi! I've been doing lots of tests with meshes over vector drawings to understand how they work but I failed miserably. I'm taking notes on the things I'm understanding but there are still some things that I just can't: 1. I create a vector drawing. I create a mesh. I go to the vector drawing layer s...

Re: Cleared animation from Document but didn't work

Ok finally I found the problem. I was going to delete the post but I think it's better if I let the solution here so maybe that can help someone searching for it. Like I suspected, Moho did everything right. The thing is that "Animation - Clear animation from document" deletes all the keyframes from...

Cleared animation from Document but didn't work

I had a character with a few layers and some animation on each one. First I used the "Animation - Copy current frame" to copy one of the frames to frame 0, and that worked perfectly. Then I wanted to get rid of all the animation on the document, so I used the "Animation - Clear animation from docume...

Re: Minecraft animation

I liked it! very cool style and well done animations. I think that the embedded video problem is related to the nature of this website and how certain browsers find the embedded video scripts non secure. On chrome, I see a shield icon on the right of the url bar, and if I put the pointer on the icon...

Re: Markers, nested actions and depth with folders

Nested bone (and smart bone action) control works fine, but you cannot have any bones in between the controlling bone layer and the object controlled. Hi! I've found this post searching for that kind of information related to what can a smartbone action control and what not. I'm working with Moho 1...

Re: Which points are "in" this keyframe?

start Moho / AS near the bottom of the File menu is "Open Custom content folder" in that folder is a scripts subfolder; and in that is a tool subfolder. copy the .lua and .png into that and restart Moho Did that but the tool did not show up in the script menu. Where do I look for the tool? Thanks I...
