Great job! Yes, I agree AS is perfectly suited for this type of animation, and it reminds me of shadow puppetry, which would be contemporary with the apparent era being depicted. Stroke exposure or masking are probably what you want. Hide edge and line width might be useful there too.

Reminds me a little of the hand drawn rotoscoping in Yellow Submarine. I don't personally care for noticeable rotoscoping, but that's just me. I suspect you are using an automatic translator, such as Google Translate for the English subtitles. This produces many errors. I think you should find someone to translate for you.
