Could install and start, prepared a sequence, but any run of the real thing crashes (Mac).
I did a short test. It works with windows.

Re: Bones not staying where I create them.

Three possibility's I can think of; You have nested bone layers and moved one of the top layer(s). You have moved the bones in the layer. It would have keys. To check, look at the transform tools x and y position. Make sure the numbers are the same as frame 0 You have found bug in the program. Dale

Re: Moho 13 Render times

When you push any animation program you say the computer animators prayer; "Please don't crash, please don't crash. (repeat until render is done)"

Rendering to sequence images allows you two things. You can render small parts and assemble them with different codecs as needed.

Not bad. I found some parts very slow. Could use some re-timing.

Re: No upgrade path

The coding team is not in the USA. Outsourced to somewhere else in the world. And just like Mike they are not animators, but programmers. There are two forums, one like this one where only the beta testers can be communicating with the programmers and another for reporting bugs. They do not know the...

Re: MOHO 13 - EVERYTHING WE KNOW SO FAR

But sad to see the poser import is gone.
I was told it was a licence issue. Poser and the raster to vector trace is gone because of it.

I just tried to import a poser 11 file into 13 by using 12. doesn't work.

I like beating a dead horse. Moho 13 is being work on. NDA keep me and others from elaborating beyond that because we would get kick of the beta team before you can blink.

Re: My first animation using Moho

Not bad. Some tips: Add shading to your character. It will give him some depth. Papagayo is a starting point. You need to add expressions. Happy, sad, excited etc. to the mouth. Animate the eyebrows. Eyebrows expressions can communicate what the character is thinking. Watch the eyebrows on any Walla...

Moho still has a beta team and bug reporting. Smith Micro as gotten rid of Mike and outsource his job to somewhere in the world.

So it good news and bad news.

Everyone who could say anthing more has signed a NDA.

10 minutes long? I would try to get it down. 9 minutes is better than 10. With out seeing the job I don't know, but I'm willing to guess that something can be cut. Most animation that is 10 minutes can be done with just 4 to 5. Not all but most. Price? Look at the amount details that you have to ani...
