There's new minimum wage laws in the UK that prevent you asking people to work for free in some circumstances. You should make sure you're not in breach of this. I'm not a lawyer, but as far as I remember if you're a group of friends doing something, it's fine, but if you're a company and you're ask...

Unfortunately, on the Mac, the MIT/GNU Scheme interpreter is only available for OS X 10.4 and higher, and I'm still using 10.3. Therefore, I have to translate the programs to DrScheme, was has a version for OS X 10.3. Wow. I guess if you can get it to work, you automatically pass the course. :D I'm...

Turns out that the demo is really the cheap version That's the Toon Boom Studio demo. They used to have the Solo demo on the website, but it was so buggy/bad/easily crackable (take your pick) they took it down - now you can only get it if you e-mail them directly (presumably so they can bombard you...

Vern, I meant develop as in programming. The problem with more sales is you have more users, with more compatibility problems and more bugs. Not everyone likes workarounds. You need to spend more programming resources on those basic needs before you can put the fun stuff in that we all want. If it's...

Mike has a day job working for Adobe. How's that for competition? E-frontier seems to feel that Anime Studio is no threat to Adobe, Wait a minute... What if Adobe feels Anime Studio is a threat to Flash? They could claim that Mike has used Adobe internal secrets (gleaned from his job) in AS and shu...

If you've sent a PM to Fahim, why post this scaremongering publicly? You're only going to scare off potential new users. You're not actually helping the situation for e-Frontier. If you're that worried about hackers and malware, you should consider the Other Software forum, where people post excitin...

Stop giving the hackers ideas!!! But seriously, I think you're over-reacting a little. This is one of the best managed software vendor forums I've seen. The Tab and Digicel forums have been taken down (or had been last time I looked) and the Toonboom forums are full of... how do I put this... ...

But CreaToon is free and schools with small budgets can use it - to let the pupills try to animate. And someones will find it good and they can buy AS. CreaToon can be a good start! The LAST thing we want is schools using Creatoon, as there's no upgrade path to AS. Also, what about schools using Ma...
