Re: Free transform tool

It's working fine in 12.5, at least.

Re: Free transform tool

I'm still using this tool a lot, but I miss one feature that would make it just perfect:
Do you think it's possible to assign the four points position before distorting? (maybe a checkbox o shortcut to enter to 'define cage' mode)
Thanks again!

Re: Rotating layers at once

Ah, sorry, I forgot Debut hasn't group layers. But, for this case, Bone layers are the same. So just create a bone layer, put all your layers inside it and then rotate the bone layer.

Re: Rotating layers at once

Hi. Put all the layers inside of a group and rotate the group instead of the individual layers.

I'm sorry, Alan, I can't share the files in which I have used this technique. But as DK said, your approach seems to be same I was describing :)

Re: D.R. Greenlaw Demo Reel, 2019 Edition

In revisiting the work we did on Boss Baby over a year ago, it occurred to me I haven't yet mentioned Victor Paredes' contributions to the show. Victor built some advanced rigs for this show, including an amazing quetzalcoatl and the scariest Jack-in-the-box. He created fun animations for the show ...

Six steps to change the Constitution

Hi, it has been a long time since I shared any animation in this forum. Personally, it has been a hard year for me. Also I have been working a lot, now in two features from Cartoon Saloon: Wolfwalkers and My father's dragon :) Anyway, here's a quick video I made with my brother during a weekend. Chi...

Re: Unimited Animated Layer Order with Smartbones?

In some projects, I have created a specific 'layer order' smart bone. Then I rotated that bone with step keys every time I wanted to change the order. To work properly, no other smart bone modifies the layer order. PS: This layer order smart bone is normally around 50 frames long. I just put all the...

Fixing 'illegal' curves?

Is there any way to remove 'illegal' curves? Some times there are shapes that can't be filled because there's a line bent in a bad way, making some kind of loop, or there are two lines across the same points or other possibilities that escape to my mind right now. Many times it requires a lot of tri...

Re: Parent / unparent in place?

Sadly there's nothing to help there, besides copying the position and scale of the original group/bone layer to a new one, for instance.
I would love to have a way to do this automatically.

Re: Can't turn off 'Use baked physics'

Try modifying one of the numbers before pressing apply. Gravity magnitude, for instance.
I think in order to reset the baked physics, the software needs new values to calculate (but that will override any modification you could have made by hands, which makes sense).

Re: Control bone delay

I'm using Stan's script a lot. Currently I'm animating several scenes with chains. The characters are animated in TVPaint, but the chains needed to be done quicker. So basically I created a switch layer with two pieces (front and side view of the chain) and used the script to create hundreds of refe...
