I think the windows will always appear on monitor nr 1. So I guess the solution, for now, would be to set the monitor you keep AS on to nr. 1. Well not completely true, but they do tend to show up on monitor one though. That's not a completely satisfactory solution simply because the Cintiq isn't t...

Modal Windows on Multi-Monitor workstations...

After a long absence from Anime Studio I am getting back into things (and back into this forum) and I have a particular issue with the new Anime Studio Pro 8 (it probably existed before this version as well), in that I have a multi-monitor setup (2 23" wide screens and a Cintiq 21ux) While work...

I think both of those programs are overkill for charactor dev work. As pointed out AS doesn't really play well with others. That is an issue more of how it has to work than any particular short comings. The way you have to work in AS do not lend themselves to charactor development and for that you'l...

Then I may just try to put some things together for you. (will be a bit I'm working off site on a new system, so no archives to speak of)

Again, best of luck in your hunt.

Well, shame my animation skills aren't up to the task right now (still art I can do, animation, well, it's coming) but I would jump at the chance to work in Budapest, what a wonderful city. (not to mention the work you guys are doing at Greykid) Best of luck with finding the help you need. Perhaps i...

Interesting though obviously beyond my current abilities as I have no clue how you are moving the thing around. "Manipulate Bones" gives me very rudimentary control of the figure. Wish I knew more about these rigs.

Nice job

Ah, there it is, I was looking for that thread. I had hear reference to the script in a few threads but I couldn't find the thing. You've come through again... thanks much.

Oh, and lest I forget... yes a tut on lipsyncing with actions would be met with at least one VERY interested viewer.

"Luis Cook on making the film: "I knew I wanted to mix 3d cgi with 2d somehow. Rough it up a bit. So we animated everything in the computer with cg models then printed the frames out and worked over them in 2d. Filling in the details and expressions and scanning it all back in over the 3d....

Did you check the drop down on the bottom right of the workspace window for the display level? Make sure you have images checked as being visible there.

Clear as mud?

I am currently working through the 3rd video and I would like to thank you for the very thorough walk through of the techniques involved in the head turn. There are a number of things here that I was a bit iffy on and it really helped going through these things. Of course now I'm going ot be looking...

It's there on mine, lower part of the drop down... along with preview, export and batch. If you still don't see it the keyboard shortcut is Ctrl + R.

Hope that helps.

Wow... you know I wasn't sure about this thing to begin with.. but you've really pulled off some interesting secondary movements. I don't know enough about AS to even ask the questions I want to about your work on this. The mouth is really impressive, as well as the movement of the hair and the subt...
