Re: Searching for free Animators? (READ FIRST)

I'd go so far as to say that well-written parentheticals are essential where the context is not clear to the actor Which happens never. The context is the script. If the guy writing the script feels his script lacks context, he shouldn't be writing. Also, there's no such thing as a well-written par...

I don't think it limits them, in fact, rather the reverse: most will go out of their way to ignore them or do just the opposite of what they say, and rightfully so.

This is a great idea and a true fountain of information! Something tells me there'll still be the pie in the sky posts though... :( Oh, and this: If you don't know how to write in scripting format, watch this video: Yes, watch it but stop around the 5-minute mark where he talks about parentheticals....

Re: CAN FIGHTER 2015

The character design looks very good. I'm guessing these were created in another program and imported into Anime Studio for the actual animation? Anyway, this looks very nice!

Wow. Just in case the animation itself wasn't impressive on its own, you had to go and drop this bombshell too! Outstanding work!

Re: Little parody for My Little Pony

I was completely unfamiliar with the source material so after watching yours I looked up the original opening credits and yours are very close and quite well done! Also, what kind of musical geniuses do they have writing TV show themes in Japan? Every one of them is catchy and beautiful!

It looks good and kind of funny at the same time. It's a nice fight but the way her arms flip around made me giggle a little.

Re: what'a'ya got der!? gimme, okbye

I'm scared about what I'd see if there were more :-) There is much truth to this. Looks good and the animation has a "hand drawn" feel to it. What's going on with those two things hanging off the old man's face? At first I thought they were just reeeeeally long ear lobes, but they look like they're...

Holy hoppin' hippos is that a terrible song! Nothing beats starting the day with some atonal screeching!

I could see the Anime Studio parts in there, but I didn't stick around for long. What I saw was definitely experimental though, so you certainly achieved your goal.

How come it's never as easy as these videos make it look when I try it? I could say the same for the Anime Studio tutorials as well... :? :(

That is a cute dinosaur indeed. The only kind of weird moment was when the entire background was taken up by a hill and looked like a plain green background. Otherwise, very nice!

I neither noticed that nor the relation of the names "Lew and Ken." Shame on me for missing these Easter eggs!

Re: Pro Teaching Career Animation

Wow, this is jaw dropping. Basic design, yet beautifully animated. Excellent color schemes. The whole thing is marvelous, but I could have watched the one karate student all day just to see the natural way her belt moved. Excellent!
