I just Googled '3/4 view people' and found several good examples. The first site was even a tutorial on drawing.

Yeah Fazek's tool makes it odsolete. Fazek's tool doesn't need an open end line, but I guess if you need to do multiple welds at once you'd need this menu script.

Okay, well I tested it with open end lines, and it worked. It seems that at least one of the points in each pair has to be open ended. In this case welding multiple pairs works.
Let me know if that works for you.

Yeah, it works like Fazek's translate tool. Select two overlapping points and the menu option welds them. Obsolete, IMHO.
It should probably just be called 'weld' in the menu, since it doesn't appear to do any thing automatically.

Or...is there any fairly simple way to modify the project text file to achieve this? Maybe manually dropping the coordinates of one axis, or would ASP just read this as a corrupted file? Edit: I just looked into this. I think I understand what I'm looking at. Manually modifying the file isn't practi...

Oh wow, you know, I had wondered about the current layer construction curves being unchecked, but never managed to check it from another layer. Thanks alot, Vern. That'll really help. I can't believe I missed something like that.

Well I have developed what's probably a bad habit of working only with construction curves through quite a bit of my workflow. Onionskin is the only way to see construction curves on another layer. I realize that shapes can be seen without onionskin, but how I'm working at the moment would require m...

Oops, that's a bad example. Sorry. Doing the same thing with multiple different layers you can see that reclicking the frame actually makes the onionskin disappear. So it never really gives you an accurate onionskin.

Here it is. Just set onionskin to relative frame on current frame and scrub the timeline. It lags behind like a one frame off tracer. Since this is onionskinning the same layer there should be no appearant onionskin at all, they should line up perfectly.

Separate axis keying

Okay, this may be hard to explain, but here goes. Basically what I'd like to be able to do is keyframe my point motion in only one axis. This way the other axis would be able to tween freely between other keyframes. This would really help out the workflow of what I'm doing. File here In this example...
