New Camera Tool: POV Camera

POV Camera What it does : for the selected Frame range, have the camera 'look' from the POV of the Layer. Another way of thinking of this is that the camera is attached to the Layer, and whatever you do to the Layer in a spacial and rotational way now happens to the camera. It is a virtual ' Camera...

looking good - i dont really understand what you're asking, but maybe add a reflection to the window? you can animate some reflected shapes moving past the car as he drives? (will mean masking, hopefully you're not planning on exporting flash anymore... This is also true for the blue-tinted window ...

GetFullTransform

I now realize that my camera tools are not accounting for parent transformations. So I need to be able to use the following MOHO.MohoLayer function. But I have no example code using this, and this description isn't all that clear to me: void GetFullTransform() Gets the layer's complete transformatio...

Great Developments. You are Master in creating Cameras. Hope Smith Micro will send you a Download Link of ASP 6.2. Thanks! I was hoping the same thing. I can't afford to buy AS5 and AS6 (I'm unemployed)... but if Smith Micro gave me copies (which isn't unreasonable since I bought ASP7) I could make...

Here's a fun thing I did quickly just using the Point Camera tool. I took Tutorial 5.8 and stripped out all the animation. Then I raised the camera to Y=3.5. I started the camera at Z=+10 for frame 1 and tween to Z=-10 at frame 192. Finally, I have it Point Camera at Tree 2 for frames 1 to 192. The ...

New Camera Tool: Lock Camera [*new version*]

Lock Camera What It Does: For the selected Frame Range, have the Camera match the location motion of the selected Layer. That is, the selected Layer will not move visually on the screen since it will remain in the same relative position to the Layer. Roughly, this tool causes the Camera to follows ...

Many Many Thanks for your development, but will this work in 6.2 I can't test it... I only have ASP7... I know how to make an AS5 version since I have sample AS5 scripts, but I can't test these either. I rely on those who have AS5 to do this for me (DK for instance). I know AS5 and AS7 have to have...

New Camera Tool : Kite Camera

Kite Camera WHAT IT DOES : Select a Layer, specify a Frame Range, specify a Distance Range.... EXECUTE... the result is the Camera will animate through the distance range during the frame range. For example, setting frame range to 1 to 48 and the distance from 1 to 2, the camera will move from dist...

Re: How to adapt a script for Anime Studio 7

Fazek's Translate points bones tool Work perfectly in 6 but in 7 I get many error messages such as: attempt to index global FA_SharedUtils' (a nil value) attempt to index field autoWeldCheck' (a nil value) Is it just syntax or a simple modification or is it unusable in 7? It is syntax. The way AS5 ...

an idea: Is there a way to keep the camera equidistant to the layer? at the moment having the camera pan around a layer that moved from left to right, and setting the layer to 'face camera' results in no rotation for the layer or position translation - which is cool, but it enlarges and shrinks pre...

Point Camera - Version 3 - 'Use Origin' checkbox

There is now a version 3 (both AS7 and AS5, AS5 untested by me). This new one has a 'Use Origin' checkbox . If checked the camera will point at the Origin of the Layer. If unchecked, it will point at the Layer as if Origin = (0,0). Roughly speaking, when you first create a Layer, it has a 'default'...

sweet - will download the latest script... you did it so quick you didn't have time to make an icon! :P I dont think the switching needs to be automated... if you could just select a layer and tell it to be the target, then move on and select another layer to be the target, that would result in wha...

Well... it turns out writing one's second script doesn't take as long as the first....
