Re: Bone will only rotate???

I've just tried this with a very simple rig that is only bone layer- 3 bones - parent bone then two child bones, one for each eye > vector layer two circles for the eyes - each circle point bound to the appropriate bone all three bones can translate / rotate / scale as expected. I'm therefore guessi...

Re: Music creation/editing software

the very basic version of Sibelius is free.

the next level up is about GBP120 / USD160 for a perpetual licence. If your budget runs to that, I'd go for it.

Re: Animate to the music if possible

Music is my main thing, actually, and I'd much rather score to the action that animate to the score, regardless of how well planned it is. I want to see how it looks and feels before I decide on a music style. I know you want to score to the animation, but... Animating to the music track gives you ...

Re: Quick settings, and multi layers.

that "bug" has bitten me many times -- selecting a layer, opening up layer settings, then remembering / realising that I need to change other layers and selecting them leads to the behaviour in the OP. The workflow in Greenlaw's post (i.e. don't open the settings until all the layers are selected) w...

Re: FBF and bitmaps

You could make cutouts of the provided artwork, splitting the elements apart so you can animate them with a bone rig. It would only require filling the gaps left by the cutout parts, how were the original drawings created? if they were done digitally the artist may have these layers - so no need to...

Re: Bone Head

check the bone strength (tool default shortcut S) and bone binding mode (layer settings bone tab). It looks as though the bones other than the head bone are affecting the points in the head vector and/or the head bone strength is not covering all the points in the head vector.

Re: Switch transitions?

if you join this up with the discussion about "vertical" separation (http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=33260) and noting that you've used premier then you can have .. a file with the bg that runs for the whole video duration one file for each of the groups that you're currently sw...

...For now I have two very important questions: how the universe was born and why Moho overflooding RAM. As I understand there is problem in lua language for the first place but I am not a programmist. Just want to beleave that developers can patch this horrific bug. FWIW the memory leak issue has ...

Re: How do I limit duration of animation group?

...So, my full animation project is in the same work-space. Each scene is made of vectors and under their own group (ex: folder for 'scene 1'). I can layer and sequence these perfectly fine to get the finished result I want, but is there any way to hide a layer grouping after It's finished playing?...

Re: Shading on a 3D shape

with smooth shading: if you rotate the layer about the x/y axes (or move the camera in 3d), you'll see that the shading on the faces changes intensity according to their orientation with respect to the assumed source of illumination. if that's not what you want try the "extruded side color" option a...

Re: moho 12 32 bit

12 is fully supported on 32 bit (but make sure you tell the installer to install the 32 bit version as well as / instead of the 64 bit) the path will be something like "C:\Program Files\Smith Micro\Moho 12\MohoRT Win32.exe"

13 is NOT supported on 32 bit architectures.

Re: Free transform tool

What version of Anime studio does this work on? I keep getting scripts that won't work on Ver 11 I wish people would state which versions the tool is for. If I missed this I apologize. just looking at the dates on the early posts in thread - it seems that this script was released back in 2012 which...

Re: Bind all bones to one layer (3D Object)

yeah - it's not designed to run on earlier than 12 -- but it should have trapped that and quietly declined to do anything... which it ought to have done?? (maybe because it's intended to be installed in the scripts / tool subdirectory (not menu)???) However, the actual crash out is in parsing a file...
