Re: Moho vs. Toon Boom (an opinion vid)

I can understand your reason on ToonBoom over Moho and that goes for anyone who prefers freehand over vector drawing. As for animation tools/options, Moho wins hands down for me. Plus I prefer its GUI over ToonBoom any day. I just find ToonBoom too cluttered of an interface. Great for raster graphic...

Just in case anyone didn't see the old motion blur topic, here's a tool (MoBlur for Windows & Mac) to create that effect...

Re: Some old Animation Master cartoons

Use to use Hash A:M myself. Then I requested a feature to render the frames by means of the graphics card. This would be much faster instead of relying on the cpu, which is already being used by the OS and every program under the sun already running. But Martin Hash disagreed that this was even poss...

Re: render farm for mac

Well, I'm currently rewriting MoRen for OS X at this very moment. Maybe I can make it so that MoRen watches a folder and if a new *.anme file is put in that folder, MoRen will render it. I'm not sure if that is the best option or not and I'm not making any promises. I'm just fiddling with it now an...

I just finished porting Tululoo over to OS X for silentworks. You might give that a try too. It's a great app and it's free. ;)

Re: Spine: 2D skeletal animation engine

Yes, code controlling your characters rotations and so forth does sound interesting but here's the thing. Instead of a simple code saying, go to next frame, you're now using more code to control your whole character. Which means the cpu usage will go up slightly more from calculating all rotations a...

Re: Help ??? Shape Future of Anime Studio & Forum

I'm not annoyed. Also, while the style of this animation isn't going to reach the masses, I wouldn't call it a loss. You may not get the response that you may have expected but who cares. As long as you enjoy what you are doing, that's all that counts. But if you want more responses in your favor, t...

Re: Help ??? Shape Future of Anime Studio & Forum

Hey ED, you seem a bit down. I'm not sure what's up with all the "idiot" phrases and so forth? Anyways, you seem to be doing fine. It's just the style is very odd. I would say tone down the oddness a bit and have an actual punch line and all will be good. The video I just watched was just too odd an...

Re: Help ??? Shape Future of Anime Studio & Forum

My curiosity got the better of me so I looked up your video and wow... Acid is one hell of a drug. What in the "cotton pickin ninny muggins" was that? If I did drugs, I would need downers to come off of what I just watched. :| On the bright side, I would say you're creative. Just tr...

Re: are there alternatives to papagayo?

Just scrub the audio in AnimeStudio itself and switch the layers where needed. Much better then any outside app. ;)
