just a bit of guff

Well another piece of half polished nonsense,it's a little animatic for an idea for a series. Two idiot aliens , marooned on a little asteroid. I have a whole series of stories of them trying to escape or just suffering the experience, I am thinking of doing some episodes up using anime instead of 3...

spaghetti robotango

thanx Jahnocli, in response to the 'is it a woman' question, it's like Magritte said "Ceci n’est pas une pipe". Anyway you are definitely on to some of the obscure subtext for sure, I have actually changed the ending which had the two robots in a self destructive jaw lock. As for doing any more- no ...

It's too easy, call him Abe  That way it's not so formal, anyway what's the problem? I'm sure the old testament has quite a few less than perfect characters running around in it , and , hell, no one claims that is antisemitic, indeed it wouldn't be a decent story without at least a couple of j...

A tablet that ( somehow ?) provides better traction for the pen. Yes that's right they're slippery little critters, but this could be easily fixed by the addition of a felty tip that wacom do, this would also stop abrasions to the surface, minor but noticeable. might be possible to get one somewher...

Hi Rasheed . yeah the tablet is just for meetings n stuff . I certainly could'nt go without my desktop with the wacom and all, even without the direct contact with the screen (which is sooo good). I think that tablets have been on the whole designed for and marketed to entirely wrong crowd (real est...

yep,, looks like we have to allow some tolerance for the new image textures. It's still pretty good , though, methinks.

Yeah , that's what I thought, and my image layer matches my vector image, and when I export animation it matches, for a split second and the image is suddenly replaced by a non matching version which is just slightly out of whack. When I play the rendered file it seems the image texture is fractiona...

hi synthsin ,well here's the thing, it's getting the texture to land where I want it to like in Rasheeds example, I'm gonna mucha around some more with it but it doesn't seem to be an exact science when it comes to applying the texture accurately.there must be a trick I haven't found yet.

Image Textures in 5.6

:?:
From Rasheed
"..So, when are we going to see those textured vector animations? It is now fairly easy to do."
So... I am wondering what I'm doing wrong, I just get the same results in the new version.
I can't see any new texture options, or menus, I must be a little dim I think
:?: :?:

Phew , finally an answer, I've been looking for ages and with the search out of order I was dumbfounded. I always mistakenly thought , this artifact was created when lines where joining from opposite end and not flowing in the same direction.- Like how similar issues happen in apps like animation ma...

Can you post swf's here? If this doesn't work I'll delete the post........ http://charleskenway.com/goodies/dinochook.swf Oh well it's a link, that'll do. notice my rubbishy line joins, it's hard to keep attentive to that construction detail, it would be nice to have a visual clue to when line don't...

recycle

HI Slowtiger, you are right about importing the skeleton and reusing it, I thought maybe 'Empty' might have been expecting a similar thing to how it works in other programs such as 3d apps and that a different approach is necessary in Anime, so that's why put it that way. Here is my DINOCHOOK with r...
