Hey, it's been awhile. A very long while but we couldn't resist making a Christmas cartoon for you all. More like an animated Christmas card. Hope you enjoy it.

Re: Questions about Tina
I Will try to answer some of these. Hi guys. I'm really new here and am struggling a lot with bone rigging. I'm looking at Tina the space woman example and I have questions. Unfortunately I don't know exactly what to ask. I notice that Tina has only one bone group for the whole character. Is that th...

Oh no! Is THIS how layer referencing (doesn't) works?
OK, so layer referencing was a really cool feature to me but is ruined by a curtain behavior. Ok so my character has multiple switcher layer for a head and then multiple switch layer for mouth type and then multiple switch layer for mouth shape per type. See? So I set it up so that every mouth refer...

How did they control eyes with bone on 11 demo?
The Gorilla demo, you can move the pupils around by moving a bone around. I couldn't figure out how they did that. I thought it was a bound layer but that doesn't seem to be it.

Can somebody explain target bone?
So I see videos of target bones and it looks like they do cool things. However, I (think I) copy the video to reproduce it's results but my rigs don't act the same.
Perhaps someone explaining what bone targeting IS, rather than what it can be used for will help me understand.

Re: Zooming camera out causes blur and low quality on render
My only (and probably poor) guess is that what ever file format you are exporting to has a low mbps (mega-bits per second) and can't handle all the complicated changing pixels.
I would try a different format.

It's been awhile, here is a NEW Nick and Will: Saltines
We took a long break but the release of ASP11 inspired me to finish this one
Saltines
This will be the last cartoon made with 9.2. We upgraded to 11 and will be modifying our character rigs. I am not sure if this will translate into better animation. We shall see.

It's a good start. The one problem that stands out to me is the man doesn't pick his feet up when he walks.
