Yeah, that is odd. You can't get any feedback while you draw with it unless you have 'paths' enabled. And why are construction curves now called 'paths'?

I actually like seeing the vector points while using the freehand tool. It is king of odd that the min/max line width was replaced with a percentage though.

Actually Vern, it's CTRL+ALT+F5. No shift needed. Odd though, clicking the currently selected tool after reloading does nothing, regardless of tool. You have to select a different tool or use that tool's hotkey.

If you are doing these layer sortings within a grouping layer, it will work. Just like 5.6, layer sorting only occurs within a grouping layer. Greg, you now need to go into the bone (or group) layer's layer settings depth sort tab to enable animated layer sorting. Then moving the layers will actually add these keyframes to that grouping layer.
