That's all fine and well until you want to delete something.chucky wrote:It's easy.
Just draw from the inside to the edge to divide without distortion.
Forget about the handles, just draw each point from the centre.

Re: Put points on a circle and delete them without deforming
Did you "enable bezier handles and fixed bezier handles"? Yes, and when you put a new point onto a curve, it still changes the bezier values for the nearby points - that's why the curve deforms when you delete this new point. I'm really surprised there isn't a way to restore the original ...

Re: Put points on a circle and delete them without deforming
Well, I always use fixed bezier handles, and masks should be considered, in my opinion, only as a last resort method, because, as I recently discovered, they can slow the rendering process waaaay down. I actually was going to use a mask in this case, but then I thought: wait, this is silly, there MU...

Put points on a circle and delete them without deforming it?
This sounds like a dumb question, but I'm actually at a loss here. So I draw a circle, right, and then I put some points onto its edge. If you don't uncheck the "Sharp points" box, this action immediately turns the circle into something decidedly less circle-y. OK, let's uncheck it and put...

...move the rig without creating unnecessary keyframes?
Since I've been previously working with rather simple rigs, I've only encountered this issue now. Say I want to manipulate my character's arm. I grab the forearm bone, wiggle it, then decide to move the resulting keyframe a bit forward/back. Problem is, Moho has put in keyframes for ALL the parts of...

Re: Exporting GIMP & Inkscape layers to import to Moho
Sometimes Moho imports Inkscape SVGs incorrectly. If you're experiencing distortions, switching to .eps format should help.

Please critique the sh*t out of this little animation
Guys, I've made a short clip that I'd like to show you. I mostly use Moho for little bits of animation here and there, but this one turned into a full-fledged mini-cartoon. It's supposed to make you chuckle. If it doesn't, please tell me: I genuinely want to know how successful my brand of humour is...

Grid doesn't scale with the project?
OK, this one's genuinely surprising. So apparently the grid in Moho doesn't scale up/down when you change project dimensions, which effectively renders it useless (unless you switch to 1 pixel spacing). Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to reset the grid?

Thanks, man! I gave MagicYUV a try. Looks like it'll do the trick!
Also, just a general thank you: your answers are always very detailed, and I appreciate that.

Problem with exporting into SWF
For some reason, when I choose the Flash format in the video export options, Moho doesn't use the dimensions of the project but instead scales the video down. Any idea what's causing this?

The H.264 codec in Moho sucks (for no apparent reason)
Hi, everyone! I've only recently discovered a very odd thing about video exporting in Moho. Basically, it screws up colours if you choose to export via H.264 codec. I used to think, "Welp, that's the price of compression." But then I got curious and decided to export raw AVI, import it int...

Re: Help! My bone's gone crazy!!
You just need to delete all the bone rotation keyframes for that forearm bone (B12). It's trying to follow the target AND do its own rotation. YES!! Thank you, this solved the problem! Those sneaky rotation keyframes, huh... One last question: why does the reference in the mainline look like this n...

It seems like something's covertly affecting the target bone: even if you delete all the keyframes with bone translation, it still moves. I have no idea what's causing this motion.
