You could put everything on one layer and then change the order of the shapes... Shape ordering only works within layers. You can't have a shape on one layer above a shape on another layer. This would cause a rift in the time space continuum and destroy the universe so... Lost Marble wisely left tha...

Help needed... "dynamic global variable" from laye
I am trying to make my bone control scripts simpler and more universal. The current version requires a unique modified script for each controlled bones layer. The reason for this is that a global variable is created in that script that contains a list of only the specifically named controlled bones ...

I was going to respond earlier... but... I just couldn't make myself do it... Add point tool ... uh... adds points that aren't there yet. Translate Point tool ... translates points that exist already. I can see how confusion results in some cases though. For instance you click and drag to create a l...

Thanks for the comments. I have been using this now for almost all of my animations for a 7 minute pitch I am putting together. I keep finding a need for it. What I have found with extensive use is bone naming needs to be fixed. That will be my first update. Currently the way I implemented it was......

One more thing... Make sure your styles and shapes are set up correctly. If the fill color check box is set on a predefined shape a style won't change it. The fill color check box will overide the style. If you create a style and inadvertantly uncheck the enable fill checkbox than it won't do anythi...

I just found recently you can select the style in the style pallete BEFORE you hit the space bar. This will always work. The big trick is to remember... There are TWO DIFFERENT TOOLS for shapes... the create shape tool and the select shape tool. I must click on the wrong one 100 times a day. When I ...

Holy crap! That is why my fonts were acting weird... ... learn something new everyday. I had a slight... problem when the power flicked off and on for a split second. Nothing shut down... the computer stayed on... but... apparently it did something to my system files and I had to reinstall my fonts ...

Yes, I have found myself doing EXACTLY what you did... and also finding it dificult to control those group layers with bones later. Instead of using a group layer for the arm and hand... you could use a bone layer for this. A bone layer is EXACTLY the same as a group layer... but you can add bones t...
