Yes, good idea! At least for those lines with critical timing this will be a workable solution.

Thanks.

Re: Stroke exposure and the motion graph.

Seems to still be broken in 12.5 as I am only now finding out because I am planning to animate quite a lot of stroke exposures. Here's hoping for a fix in Moho 13.

Yes, this looks very useful. I wonder, whether something like this could be achieved with smart bones.

Oh, and don't forget that the bones have to be in a relatively straight line in the first place.

Re: Why does "Create Smooth Joint" sometimes not work?

It puzzles me as well sometimes. All I know is that the chain must consist of exactly two bones. If, say, an arm has 3 bones (upper, lower, hand) it doesn't work anymore.

Here's a workaround, tough:

Hope that helps a bit.

Re: Cannot seperate Layers...

It's in the 'Bone' menu. CTRL-Shift-F. You have to have the Layer and a few bones selected.

Re: Cartoon Animator 4 (CT4)

I tried to convince my colleagues at the office to switch from After Effects to Moho for character animation but the interface felt too technical for them (and the import process from Illustrator in AE is just too convenient). Found out about Cartoon Animator / Crazytalk Animator (CTA) in this threa...

Hey, Chucky, it seems to me that since your post in October you have only shared progress in one scene, not some scenes. How about another peek, then? ;-)

Which is still good advice. I for one found both the user manual and the tutorial manual invaluable and worked through the latter one front to back.

How's this?
Copy keys from timeline, create action (without bone selected), paste into action's timeline.

I'd really love to watch a making-of with that workflow. The 2D bits are great.

These ideas crossed my mind: Actions, masking, or binding the offending points to the foot bones.
