Hi, thanks for the reply. Camtasia looks good if expensive (for PC rather than Mac anyway!!) the demo file FKIK_v4_test from http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18787&highlight=fkik has bones lfoot.trg and rfoot.trg with Bone Constraint / Angle Constraints max 0 min 0. just wondered ...

Hey Gilles! thanks so much. And to Capricorn 33 as well. first the really dumb / irrelevant question - what did you use to make the sub-titles? (I find it a real pain doing them with what I use, but I've been too lazy / busy to try new approaches...) And... is there any significance that, in the dem...

Sorry - I'm only on ASP7 -- I've looked at the Wiggle script - nothing obvious in it that will have a limit. I've just tried with ASP7 with 40+ audio layers - the selection window is too small to show them all if you have long layer names (it will fit 4 cols of 11 if you have 4 character layer names...

ok - an hour or so in the sandbox later ... got it (I hope)! - if I tell AS to morph from eyes open to eyes blink then I want the blink where the eyes are now, not where they were before I moved them down?

if so -- yes please!!

Hi, sorry if I'm missing your point ... but as the first thing you do before you set up an action or pose you can always select and then "reset" the bones / points / switches that you want to be wrt frame zero... and just shift the ones without resetting that you're happy to have move wrt ...

it's not *that* much different from including an image or audio (that's by file reference rather than data isn't it?). (and compositing software that I use works only by reference - not inclusion - so if (when!! ) I change something that puts video and/or sound tracks out of sync that's down ...

thanks - I'd figured that you can use actions on bones - what I was thinking was that in (e.g.) your pose3 I could ALSO have (say) hairbangs up and eyes closed as well ... in other words morphing to pose3 would change not just group layer but also sublayers. I can see how "all I have to do"...

(crossed post whilst I was editing ... so reposted the edit here) 1 hour later.... ok - all good - I've just played with an eye shape that, even with just 1 bone and 4 vector layers each with a shape of 4 points gives amazing expression control, far better than the fixed expressions and jump change ...

Poses and interpolation

Hi. so I had this great idea about Poses and storing them so that you could just pop them into the timeline whenever you wanted them ... I somehow expected that the idea would not be new, so I looked in this forum and, sure enough, found the earlier threads on this subject going back 3 or more years...

if you don't want to change alll the fills and delete layers... imagine that you've duplicated the whole character, and done the rotations / deformations / soft edges etc ... you've put it in a bone group called "PersonShadowMask". create a new group called (say) "AllShadows". Ad...

oh.. what a tempting dangle ... are you going to say how!?!!

apart from the obvious "make sure you don't use new features.. " is it just a question of changing the

"version xx"

line to something that an earlier version of AS will recognise?
