Interesting point: Anyone who cares to can find out everything that Toon Boom is doing (I don't know if that's completely true, but we'll go with it). On the other hand, they haven't known what we've been doing. There's a certain advantage to a bit of secrecy (a lot of companies keep very quiet abo...

Still, to not even offer pre-orders?

Yes. I will take this opportunity to not let you give me money.

Yeah, I'm excited about the new software - but, damn... I am livid at the way this was handled! Seriously. Think about this for a second. We all found out about the latest Anime Studio Version because somebody happened across it at Wal-Mart... I could scream. When I look at all the talent and hard w...

ASP in SparkCast!

Hey all - I've been working with ASP for a while now and finally decided to post some work. My wife and I do a weekly video podcast called SparkCast for her group on SparkPeople.com This week, I decided to have a little Anime Studio fun... :) Check it out! Lemme know what you think! http://www.youtu...

Awesome - thanks Vern!

Hypothetically speaking... what if it was two characters and a table?

Rigged Character - Body Below Table - Hands above

Okay, I'm stumped. I've been messing with layer order, groups, depth sorting... the whole bit, but I can't figure out how to get my rigged character so their body is below a table and their arms are in front of the table. In After Effects, I'd be able to parent layers, so splitting up bones wouldn't...

Frame limits?

Hey all - Getting really crazy problems with Papagayo, granted I'm working with 13,000 frames - but I've compressed my audio down to a 15 meg 8k mono wav to help keep things moving. Trying to get it all done in one run and copy keyframes as needed, instead of working with multiple Voices within Papa...

Kinda lame to charge for the first decent form of documentation for this program. I mean, aside from the Tutorials - but I'm also a believer in full immersion education. ;)

Sounds like a video monitor needs to be added to the setup. A lot of editing programs will output the canvas or viewer sources to an external video monitor. It's the only real way to tell how all the details will look on a television screen. There's a lot of issues of screen matching, especially bet...

Nope, at least not publically available. I build my brushes myself, quick work in Photoshop. It's really easy, just experiment a bit. All brushes are 8bit grayscale PNGs. Place in folder, restart AS, use. The brush settings are worth to play with. Thanks slowtiger! This is excellent info!! An idea ...

Hehe! Thanks guys! I can neither confirm nor deny what flash series Witty Wizard is switching over to ASP... until it's done, of course! ;) We were trying to get in contact with e-frontier about getting featured, but alas, after weeks of e-mails on our end - not a word from them. Oh well, their loss...
